  1. The Planetarium was closed when we were there last week. We're going to do the Discovery museum next actually. It's fantastic that it's free and I agree about making a contribution. Because the bairn is still quite little he doesn't appreciate the exhibitions etc at the Centre for Life yet but there's a great bit upstairs for under 6's where there's just a whole little community that they can play in; house, shop, garden, kitchen etc.
  2. Yeah went to the Hancock last week actually and it was canny. There's a few bits and pieces for little'uns but the Centre for Life is better I think. I'm planning on bringing the bairn down to London at some point soon - he's 4 in a couple of weeks so would the NHM have stuff for him to do?
  3. Off to Seven Stories tomorrow for the Jungle Storyparty http://www.sevenstories.org.uk/whats-on/events/116840/jungle-storyparty Always in need of ideas for new things to do so feel free to contribute to the thread if any of you find a new venture with the sproglets
  4. Seriously will you lot listen to yourselves! Bitching and squabbling worse than any woman
  5. Did you not notice the thread called "500 injured by meteorite shower in Russia?"
  6. I got a brand new iPhone 4S delivered this morning. From me cos I'm worth it (And I was due an ugrade....)
  7. If it turns out you need anything surgical - microdiscectomy, nerve decompression etc, give me a shout. We've got some very good surgeons at our place. (Obviously I'm hoping that's a last resort)
  8. You were the one insinuating that all male nurses were gay. I just omitted to mention our kid was straight. Well, as far as I know anyway - he's single!
  9. My tall, broad, bald brother is a nurse and may have an issue with your sweeping generalisations

    Cooking

Honestly man, chilli flakes in their most basic form are with all the other jars of herbs and spices in Asda and everywhere else! Especially in Boldon Asda where there's probably 10 times more herbs and spices than when I had to make do with Seaham Asda and they had them there!
  11. God bless the ex's Sky Go account. This will hopefully be a cracker... (It was his suggestion btw, I'm not taking liberties )
  12. We don't need another snow topic when there's a 35 page on on the next page. Merged.
  13. I'm currently in bed snuggling with a warm nearly 4-yr old having just booked tickets for Wreck It Ralph at lunchtime today. It's all good
