Apparently Vidal Sassoon's funeral is going to be broadcast on the tv. Not in full though, just the highlights...

You've just proven me wrong on something; I thought the reason you didn't start threads was because you actually didn't know how to

Put it on a hot wash with nothing in the drum to find out.

The appendix does nowt but can cause a lot of bother.

My dad was a bus driver in the 80's and her government brought in bus deregulation which added massive stress onto the drivers. Dad used to do ridiculous hours and eventually had an accident when he crashed the bus he was driving that day. It was the beginning of a nervous breakdown and he never returned to work. That's ended up being the focus of my hatred of Thatcher despite there being, I'm sure, other factors. Our family was never the same after that and dad still has problems now even 30 years or so later.

Sorry, I had to edit the title as it was setting off my spidey spelling senses.. -
Yeah I thought that too. Just shows that we should all count our blessings and make the most of life

Best in the fridge than down the bog though eh?

I bought a can of Bass shandy the other day because I saw it in the shop and has a flashback to my childhood. It's still in the fridge

No, I'm not asking for any (although maybe I should) but it's more to find out how many people ask for advice when they're unsure about something or whether they're stubborn enough to think that they know well enough to make decisions without any input whatsoever? Generally (as most of you are blokes) blokes are pretty bad at asking for advice cos they see it as a sign of weakness. Do you think this is the case or would you always confide in your mate/missus etc if you had something on your mind. Once you've been given advice, would you use it, or just do exactly as you please anyway?

I met Tino years ago in Julie's of all places. He was in there with Keith Gillespie, Peacock and a couple of others. He had a horrific wooly jumper on and couldn't speak any English so he just kept shaking my cousins hand (who was starstruck) and saying "thank you, thank you.." He really is tiny too - I'm 5'4" and i felt like we were pretty level!

I feel a bit sorry for Kean too but I think it would have been best for him if he'd gone earlier in the season when the pressure was on him. Unfortunately the likes of the win against Man U buoyed the mood and he plodded on only for things to slide even further. It sounds like things are dodgy as fuck at all levels which the fans have every right to be pissed off with.

I never got to see that ship. A bit like you're not going to see the admin forum.

It's not a "secret" forum, it's an admin/mod forum for admins and mods. It's somewhere to discuss the issues that are thrown up on here. There's just as many differing opinions and bickering in there as there is in here, but it's not a secret

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2139861/Biggest-Full-Moon-year-tonight-supermoon-raises-tides-planet.html It looks immense at the moment! Clear as a bell in Gateshead.

If you see a digital clock reading 12:34 you can make a wish too.

No need to patronise me. There's differing opinions amongst everyone and we're trying to sort it out.

Can I just reiterate the fact that nothing has been decided yet. Taking on new moderators has meant that we now have a wider range of views and opinions of what the solution should be. Chez started this thread as an individual poster with the right to do so and not as a representative of all the moderating team.
