Drama over - it's open again.

Just seen this on the news. Awful

Tyne Bridge closed both ways at the moment due to an ongoing police incident (jumper probably) so if anyone is planning on using it then keep an ear out for the travel news. Metro FM doing fairly regular updates. I'm taking 2 coachloads of kids to Lourdes this morning and we're leaving from the middle of town in a bit. It going to be chaos if none of them can get over the bridge

It's got to be. In theatre we've already had 2 stabbings, a bloke with a smashed leg after coming off his motorbike, a crash caesarian section and there's been a massive fire behind the hospital. All between 8pm and 2am. Roll on 8am and the start of my holidays....

Happy Face, I'm sure that none of us can imagine what your brother and family are going through at the moment. The passing of his partner is just unfair and tragic. However, she has left your brother the most precious gift that anyone can. That little one will give your brother a reason to get up in the morning, to laugh and smile and not feel guilty, and to bring your family even closer together. You will all grieve and wonder why this had to happen but your lives will go on - just as hers goes on through that precious little boy. What an amazing legacy to leave behind. Stay strong and take care petal. SLP - your mother is tough as old boots. That's fantastic news
