CT clearly doing it wrong.

Glen Johnson is playing there at the moment Well bearing in mind Johnson is a Rightback / right midfielder, I'd say Enrique might be seeing a bit more of Andy Carroll after the summer.

Who's leftback at filthpool these days? I know Konchesky has gone out on loan.

Was watching it live, they reckon there was faulty wiring underground that made that the electric made the horses have a heart attack then had to be put down Gutting, there was ssome good races there today Reports that contractors had aerated the course and paddock last week and may have damaged insulation on a cable.

Good article that seemed to be starting out in the traditionally wrong-eyed insulting fashion, but finished off being refreshingly complimentary Fantastic stuff He's right about Beat Surrender as well. And that Michael Henderson is a stuck up arsewipe who deserves a good kicking. -

Looks too wallpusherish. -
Come on braindeadman, a page back you said horse racing was cruel and now you're laughing at two horses being killed in a horrible accident. You really are a clusterfuck.

I suspect they were trying to keep the Boundary Layer flow smooth along the fuselage (which reduces drag) and improve the air flow into the engine If you look at any modern jet fighter the engine intakes are slightly separated from the side of the fuselage for that reason For the first time in the history of F1 threads, you're right(ish). They were trying to smooth the airflow (into the radiators). The 'trick' though was the twin floor which didn't work. F1 is a copy-cat series, and if any designer comes up with a concept that gives a definite advantage they'll all have it the following year (either that, or the loophole gets closed). The fact that no-one has tried anything similar for nearly 20 years tells me any theoretical advantage may not be proven in practice.

Just reminded me, this pillock sent me a friend request yesterday. I selected 'refuse & remove' but it didn't work. Anyone know why? EDIT: forget it, its cleared now. -
What happened at Newbury? Two horses collapsed and died in the parade ring. Sounds very, very dodgy.

FUCK. OFF. BORO. Had Barnsley-Ipswich, Sheff.U-Millwall and Boro-Swansea as three draws, about 35/1 and boro conceded in the last minute of injury time to lose 3-4 after the other two games had finished even. Fuck off you useless, useless bastards, I hope you go into administration.

Someone at work has lent me Gran Torino to watch over the weekend. Better or worse than Harry Brown? -
The Ferrari F92, designed by John Barnard in the early '90s, had a similar gap between the cockpit and the sidepods. It ran some sort of twin floor configuration if I remember rightly. I presume the idea was similar to what Renault and Mclaren are working on now; somehow speeding up the airflow, or decreasing the air pressure, under the car to create downforce and the grip that comes with it. Anyway, in the F92's case it was a total disaster and didn't work at all. They scrapped it halfway through the season.

This. It's obscene that anyone gets more in a week for kicking a ball than a doctor gets in a year, but that's the going rate for top players. What you going to do about it? Salary cap? Much more complicated to apply to football than it is to the big four American sports, because players can move to different countries with different currencies, standards of living and tax laws. For a salary cap to work properly you also need a limit on squad sizes, transparency on wages & contracts (which will never happen) and a draft system (which will definitely never happen).

I'd be very surprised if Tiote's still here when the next window closes, there's a marker down now that we haven't got the ambition to hang on to our best players. Enrique would come into that category as well. Get used to it lads.

I'm actually with Dougie on this one. I have to speak to people I don't really like everyday, so why choose to do it on holiday? I'm the first to admit I'm anti-social these days, and as I've said on here before I assume any new person I meet is a cunt until they prove otherwise.

Gold star to the first person who can tell me where they've seen something similar to the Mclaren sidepods before...
