1. Ah, I see what you've done there Revolutionary
2. The thought of Pleat 'dancing' across the pitch after saving us from relegation on the last day of the season is gonna give me nightmares tbh 83362 Wonder if he still has the beige suit?
3. Wonder if Ambrose is enjoying having a couple of Bents up front. (Sorry) Played well yesterday.
4. Playing for SC Internacional in Brazil I think. Also played for a Mexican team after leaving us.
5. Funny really, I was just adding a fairly qualified candidate and thinking outside the usual suspects... I'm not saying he'd be my first choice tbh....my heart says Keegan could give us a 3 or 4 month lift....enough to get us into Europe...after that who knows. 83142 Make no mistake, there is no way he would be my first choice either.
6. I'm going to side with AF on this one. I don't see Hoddle as being 'the worst' or 'ridiculous'. He has something our current manager lacks: coaching and organisational ability; He also has international experience and the ability to handle pressure at the highest level. Ok, so his beliefs are a bit, er, different. But so what if he's a good coach who gets results?
7. Anyone got odds on the north-east treble: Us, Boro and the Mackems to go down.
8. I'm warming to the Epson D68. What about Canon?
9. My money is on El Tel, with a view to helping Shearer into the managers role. 83035 a la his rescue job at Boro a few years back?
10. They are. Then straight to the Oil of Olay factory I bet.
11. He did a good job at Bradford I think. Keeping that outfit up was quite an achievement. It was Sheff.Wed where things didn't go so well for him.
12. Taxi! Yes mate, booked in the name Useless bastard.
13. NotW are cunts. What is this doing for our World Cup preperations? Do they know how hard it is to win the world cup? Virtually impossible out of your own continent. With this group of players and this location this is our best (only?) chance to win it in the next twenty years. You can bet by June they'll be "The Paper Backing Our Boys" or "The Official Red-Top Scandal Rag of the World Cup" Wouldn't wipe my arse on it tbh. If you buy tabloids this is what you deserve. BTW, anyone hear that cocksucker Shaun Custis defending them on talkSport this morning?
14. Agree. A combination of Roeder and Beardsley or Shearer can't be worse than what we've got at the moment. That would be a good move. From Lard lads point of view: someone else has already pointed this out (Leazes I think) He only see's one problem at a time when appointing managers: Keegan goes - Well he faltered under the pressure, we'll appoint someone used to winning titles. Dalgliesh - Boring, ineffective football alienating the fans. Let's have some sexy football. Gullet - Completely out of touch with the area, aloof. Let's bring in a local man. Robson - Too old, players taking the piss out of him (the over-payed millionaire twats). Bring in a disciplinerian. Souness - tactical thick bastard, can't motivate millionaires, out-moded training and coaching methods, dislikes/can't communicate with players who aren't as good as he was. Bring in a motivator, someone who can work on a budget, someone who can get the best out of an average squad, someone who can wheel and deal. Likely solution: Allardyce, Jewell, Warnock, Dowie.
15. Did he have a satsuma injected with poppers in his mouth and a black stocking over his head at any time? These MP's aren't what they used to be tbh.
16. Just got back in. Few beers, donner meat and chips and a pissed up wanker took a swing at my mate. That's what passes for a satdee night out in Redcar these days. BTW I feel sorry for the big fishy, it obviously wasn't right.
17. Shit game played out by two below average sides. They are probably slightly less awful than us but we are at home, so a draw.
