  1. Can you appreciate the irony in you accusing me of only answering the bits of your post that suit me, whilst you've dodged the question of why you think I'm a fan of Ameobi twice now?
  2. My original question was genuine, it was your answer that was sarcastic. Would you mind running past me how you came to the conclusion that I thought Shola was a suitable replacement for Shearer this time please? Why would I want to quote your entire post btw, its only 6 or 7 posts above? I've read it, you've read it and anyone else who wants to read it will have seen it.
  3. Definitely something shifty about her, her eyes are to close together. Guilty!
  4. And don't ever ask an Ipswich fan why they have a Shire horse on their badge. Apparently it's a Suffolk Punch.
  5. What leads you to jump (wrongly) to that conclusion? I've never thought Shola was good enough to be our number 9. And for the record I think Souness has had his chance, but I don't see the point of getting rid of him nine games into the season unless we have someone lined-up who is guaranteed to be interested in coming here and guaranteed to do better. Who fits into that catergory? I don't think Shepherd is the perfect chairman either but I do find it churlish to moan that we haven't signed a back-up striker after he spent the best part of £40 million on five quality players in the summer. Who is to say who we might or might not buy to fill that role in January? To think that you can have everything you want when you want is the mind-set of a spoilt child.
  6. Wasn't that more or less Souness' brief when he arrived?
  7. Have to say I thought Brosnan was a good Bond, certainly an upgrade on Dalton. I thought Owen would have been ideal for the role but we'll have to see what Craig can do. Regarding a black Bond, how about Adrian Lester?
  8. So Owen, Luque, Emre, Parker and Solano in the summer wasn't enough for you eh?
  9. You can get 75mins and 300 texts for the same price if you sign up for 18 months.
  10. That's certainly a thorough review! Is yours the new Walkman phone? I can see the point of those as you can use them as your phone, your mp3 player and your digital camera. Too much technology (and cost) for me though. My friend has the Sony Ericsson V600i. I wasn't keen on the little joystick thing.
  11. My prehistoric Nokia 8310 is finally starting to give up so I need a new phone. I'm currently on Virgin pay & go and putting about £15 a month on it. I want to pay as little as possible for a new phone so I have been looking at contracts. O2 do the Samsung D500 free on a 12 month contract with 50 minutes and 200 texts (enough for me) for £19.00 a month. Seems like a reasonable deal and its only four quid a month more than what I'm paying now. What I need to know is how reliable are the D500's (I'll be keeping it as long as possible) and how easy are they to use (bearing in mind I've always had Nokias in the past I presume a new menu system will take a bit of getting used to). I'll be using it mostly for texts so I'm not that bothered about the quality of the camera, ringtones etc.
  12. Mate of mine payed £6.60 for a vodka red bull in York a couple of weeks back and we laughed at him. To pay almost double that... jeez.
  13. Souness out, by all means. I'd be happy to clear out the coaching, fitness and physiotherapy staff at the same time. But who is lined up to replace him? I would guess Lard Lad might go for a Roeder/Shearer combination til the end of the season. Is that guarenteed to be any better?
  14. Do they just pick the players names out of one hat and the clubs from another? Sling 'em together and you've filled up quarter of a page- quality journalism.
  15. Always a pleasure, never a chore
  16. Try this one then: Media Player Classic
  17. I think they'd all go with Souness. However Glen Roeder would be a distinct possibility. 46251[/snapback] Agree. If Souness goes his coaches have to go with him. Roeder (or Shearer) are the easy short-term solutions. But are either of them guarenteed to do better considering the injury situation?
  18. Curbishley won't move up here, I'd put money on it. If you cancel out all the fantasy solutions (ie foreign coaches, London based managers and bosses who are already on better horses) who does that leave? Please put on your Shepherd-Vision © Specs now to reduce choice even further.
  19. Make sure you watch the Super League Show BBC2 1130 Where are Chip and Wykiki anyway??
  20. just run that print screen > paste to paint bit past me one more time. (In a simpletons walkthrough stylee if you please).
  21. Dunno but she's been quality for about ten years now. Definitely one for the borderline file.
