Its mild again now. EDIT: how typically British. The internet gives us the opportunity to talk to anyone in the world about any subject and we're still happiest discussing the weather

Depends what you want/need. You could get a nice coupe like a Celica, Mazda MX-3 V6 or Hyundai Coupe. Or something solid and sensible but still good to drive like a Golf Gti, Seat Leon or Focus Zetec. Or how about a well-speced Skoda Octavia Turbo diesel (don't laugh, Volkswagen build quality and engineering at a knockdown price).

Did you hear Garth Crookes creaming himself about Shola? Clearly he doesn't see him every week.
-
Hope you've had a good one Mr Pud

Can't say I'm particularly bothered if he takes it or not. Although if he takes them to a CL place I'm sure there'll be some on here ramming it down our throats.
-
Sooner this particular fad dies out the better as far a I'm concerned.

After Shola's performance today and Al's continued decline what would you do in the next couple of games? I would start with an Ameobi - Chopra front line against Grimsby, see how they get on. Give Shearer a rest and see how Owen is at the weekend. Presuming Michael is fit, I'd be very tempted to play him alongside Ameobi (so long as he puts in another good shift against Grimsby) at West Brom and leave Al on the bench.

It doesn't have to be anything expensive. Sometimes a daft little present like a mug or a soft toy or a print hit a certain chord if they are chosen well. Try to think of something he's mentioned in passing in the past, extra brownie points for paying attention. Thoughtful and personal are the keys.

It was a truly dreadful performance, he made Shola and Lua look world-class.

George Burley & Hearts part company.
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Optimistic Nut's topic in Newcastle Forum
Best case scenario: Burley leaves Hearts the day before Souness' job goes on the line against Sunderland. Graeme gets the boot, George comes in and we rise up the table Worst case scenario: Burley leaves Hearts as Birmingham suffer another defeat and poor performance. Steve Bruce (who is on the brink) walks/is sacked. George takes over, Birmingham rise up the table. Newcastle sack Souness after losing to Sunderland. Lard Lad puts on his geordie-tinted glasses © and selects Bruce as his new manager. Newcastle slide down the table Which scenario is most likely? -
Souness and McCarthy at Tynecastle today..
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Wonder if he's part of a job-swap with Burley and no-one's told him. -
So do you two know each other then?

We can't really complain, it is the end of October and it has been remarkably mild so far this autumn.

What did one snowman say to another snowman? Can you smell carrots?

The cheaper dvd players are easier to crack because the copyright protection is very simple whereas the high-end branded machines have much more complex protection. I might be wrong but I think I remember reading somewhere that the Panasonic ones are the most difficult to hack. I think I got the code for mine from the forum on this site: http://www.digitalfaq.com/

Must admit the thought "What date did Dyer last play before his long-term hamstring problem?" did cross my mind. As you say, guilty conciouses, I always imagine one of our lot is up to no good again.

Its all in the title. This thread sould be anything goes. Anyway, anyone who gets offended by a joke should step back and see the bigger picture.
-
Would that not open up the risk of repercussions, making a martyr of him sort of thing? More likely he'll be locked up and they'll throw the key away.
-
I heard that today too. Didn't they say it was a Premiership player?
-
It wouldn't techincally be suicide then though would it? The double bonus would be we'd get a new manager and Leazes would get locked up

Woodgate pays tribute to doctor Real Madrid's Jonathan Woodgate has paid tribute to the doctor who helped him through his long injury nightmare. Woodgate, 25, ran to embrace Dr Alfonso Del Corral after the England defender scored in Real's 4-1 Champions League win over Rosenborg. "He helped me in the bad times and it was great to be able to celebrate with him," said Woodgate. "He worked so hard to help me recover and I had to make sure he got the credit he deserves." Woodgate tore a thigh muscle in April 2004, and numerous complications during his tortuous battle to regain his fitness even cast doubts over his ability to play again. The former Leeds and Newcastle defender eventually made his debut for Real more than a year after his £13.5m move from The Magpies. His debut turned into a nightmare as he scored an own goal and was sent off but the smile returned to his face as he scored his first goal for Real in their 4-1 win over the Norwegians. He said: "I saluted the fans and then I ran to the dugout to jump on Dr Del Corral because it's been hard for me and him over the last year. "Dr Corral is my friend, I ran over and gave him a hug because I like him a lot, and it's great to put all this behind me." Link

I think that's in Super Mac's autobiography. Haynes was MacDonalds idol when he was a kid but when he got to meet (and eventually play alongside him) he found him aloof.
-
D O'L has already said he wants to stay in club management for now.
-
Agree with the sentiments above, I'd like to see his first eleven get a good run (or even a game!) together. There is about £40 million worth of talent there, but if he does get sacked whoever comes in to replace him will want to do some wheeling and dealing. We might never see that team play.

and then knacked for the next two months.
