  1. Want another go? No thanks. The seats had the club crest on. Alan Pardew caught putting imaginary traffic cone on his head
  2. What did you have? Bottle of Bud, Becks Vier, Pint IPA, Carling? Emerald Banquet: Missed out a couple of bottles inside the ground and a lemonade at Sleepers after getting off the metro. Glass of milk before bed. That's a lot of gassy drinks
  3. Not at all just bemused by your inability to discuss football stuff. See you've now started though so well done.
  4. Until we get a new LB we need a LW who can track back. Raylor was terrible and I'm surprised they didn't make more of his lack of pace second half. I can remember his arse being handed to him by Gervinho 2 or 3 times first half, I'd be seriously worried if we persist with him there. Might be better to play Jonas at LB than him
  5. Fantastic stuff. Their sweet little heads are just....so confused by driving. Thank God hubby can take over....
  6. He's had one match in the premier league and yet you've already written him off? Gosling's only had 20 odd league appearances in 3 seasons, the vast majority of which have been with Everton. He's also missed an entire season injured. Not sure why he's considered a superior option to someone who was a first teamer with Lyon?
  7. Odd that he started and played 90minutes for PSV today then eh? To be fair Deano didn't say which game .....or who told him. Could've been his hairdresser. Or his nana. ITKs are so unreliable.
  8. I think it's premature to write off Cabaye. As many have said on here, he'll need time to settle into the club and the league. Hopefully he and the team will get better the more they play together. Similarly Ba needs more service.
  9. Re Barton, would've been very easy for the ref to send both of them off. It's my ignorance of the rules really but is it up to the ref to decide whether an incident is a red card offence? Barton was very aggressive and instigated the scuffle. Not that I'm defending Genrvinho the cheating bastard.
  10. What happened to Marvellous Marvin Marveaux today? Didn't even make the bench did he?
  11. Just watched the match. The football was quite boring and we never looked like scoring. To be expected with all the new players I suppose. Colo was fantastic, Taylor did well too, Simpson was average and Raylor was crap. Cabaye looked anonymous and will need time to adapt. Jonas felt the lack of Enrique imo, nothing up the left all match. Ba and Amoebi were toss, Best seemed to offer more. Obertan had a good debut I think. Barton's delivery from set pieces was poor. The main thing that struck me was how poor our passing was and how we still give the ball away. No hold up play and Tiote's passing was off. Song deserved to be off for the stamp but Barton was lucky to stay on. Gervinho should have been sent off for his bizarre hair/head before the slap on Barton. Usual petty Arsenal fouls and cheating. Neither team deserved to win. Our bench strength is pathetic. Desperately need reinforcements.
  12. This sort of thing pisses me off. Complete tools.
  13. its not the first time in life i have been a knob and jumped the gun lol i have the feeling it might not be the last sorry mate Mate if anyone was being a knob it was me, putting spin on your day out with your boy. No apology needed
  14. Good on you and your little boy. I was sarcastically referring to the club saying this is where the Carroll money had gone. Sorry if that was a little obtuse
  15. The usual complacency about the "passionate support". We'll see how passionate it is after a couple more years of Ashley.
  16. Indians want a day off obviously. Looks like Dravid didn't nick the ball but hit his shoe lace
  17. So some of those pundits think we'll be worse than Norwich? And why the fuck think that Bolton will be relegated? I think we're bottom half of the table but I'd have thought there'd be 3 worse teams. As do Fat Mike and Dekka, hence our tightfisted transfer policy.
  18. Mr 2J That was as much use as a diet sheet to me. What does it say? Something like According to our sources, Newcastle have submitted an offer to Lyon for the transfer of Aly Cissokho. Arriving in 2009 from Porto, the 23 year old player was included by Remi Garde in the team for the first match of the season last week against Nice (which Lyon won 3-1).
