Just imagine what they're saying about you on their secret forum

Bit of both - I'm here because my fella I always thought you were a bloke Meenz.

It wasn't a pen like and it wasn't even a very good dive when you saw the replay but the reason it looked like a one in real time to the ref was because Carsley slid in inside the box and got nowhere near the ball. Not defending N'Gog because it was a blatant dive but Carsley really only has himself to blame. Is there no sanction if a player clearly dives to win a pen or a booking? I don't see why players shouldn't be banned for 3 matches if they're found to be clearly cheating. It'd sort the problem out pretty quickly imo. In some cases the cameras show there isn't even any contact.

Fucking hell. A gamble on CL qualification?

I wondered as much, given how he died. RIP.

I'm torn tbh- I think it's got the potential to be a fantastically positive change , not just for our club, but for football in general. The prospect of it coming off in the near future leaves me excited, very excited, The torn bit comes in because I haven't got two beans to rub together right now. The nearest I can realistically predict being able to invest anything is next summer. I sincerely hope this works, so that I can(invest). I have to say that I'm not in the least surprised at the negative posts- worrying about selection processes for Presidents???? lets get the club bought first ffs. Exactly, I agree that the process has to be developed before we buy the club but it doesnt need to be worked out fully and notified to everyone on day 1. Some of us are working on these details now, how Presidents are voted, what happens in the meantime ie from the day we buy the club to the day the President is installed etc. When does Hitzfeld start?

Haven't had a chance to get my head round it yet. But I prefer to be positive about the idea. I think it's probably more of an issue getting Ashley to sell than getting the money together.

Good on everyone involved in this, I think it's a brilliant idea and obviously a lot of hard work's gone into it. Will read up on the proposals when I get time. You need a Harvey Milk character to make speeches on the town hall steps. "You gotta give them hope!"

London's a great city, no dispute. However the weather lets it down, as does the miserable outlook of its inhabitants

I lived in London for 5 years in the 90s and wouldn't recommend it as a place to live based on that experience. Overcrowded, dirty, overpriced, overrated, maybe it's changed now. I loved living there initially, but after about 4 years I'd had enough and moved on. On the plus side it's buzzy, interesting and brimming with culture and history but better to visit.

But the swing is over £50 Billion, so we're talking more than 10%. Not that I'm a fan of Brown or Labour but might some of the swing be down to the global financial crisis? I'd also be interested to know how much British involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan have cost the nation.

I hope that's not a euphemism

It's hard to imagine things could be worse if the club was owned by the supporters. Sacking LLambias and bringing in some experienced football administrators to run the club would be a big step for starters. It's not necessary for the club to be fully funded by the supporters, but there would need to be a sustainable business model. With the Barca model, my sense is that the club presidency gets the incumbent major political and commercial benefits during/afterwards. So they're happy to work for nowt and I expect they bring in finance and their own backing too to help them get elected. I think that's what happens at Madrid. It's not realistic to expect the same, we'd need to appoint and pay professionals and pay our own way through what we can earn, raise from supporters and borrow sustainably. I've got an open mind about this. It would be fantastic to buy the club off Ashley. Whether he'd sell it is another matter entirely.

Hendrix never died due to taking mind altering substances did he? I wouldn't blame the drugs for Cobain either and Elvis was addicited to prescription drugs. Hendrix died due to incompetent medical care, didn't he? Drugs are fantastic, unfortunately I can't hold down a job and fatherhood at the same time. I look forward to being a disgraceful old age pensioner, whacked out of my head in piss stained tracksuit bottoms, searching for loose change in coat pockets at the supermarket checkout with a large queue forming behind me

Bunch of liars. As I recall relegation was "unthinkable". When Llambias opens his mouth, it's only to change feet.

NUFC not for sale + Hughton awarded 18 month deal
Kitman replied to Dr Kenneth Noisewater's topic in Newcastle Forum
As of now it's SportsDirect.com @ St. James' Park? If I ever get my hands on either Fat Boy or Disco Dekka it's going to be like the greenhouse scene in Scum, only with less pot plants and more violent bumrape "Had enough, or d'you want some more?" This new name's not very snappy is it? Might as well call it the "Buy one get one free never to be repeated offer only a few days left of closing down sale from Sportsdirect.com@St James Park -

How would that work then? You set out to lose lots of money so you can claim a tax write off worth 50% of the resulting losses? By God is there no end to his fiendish cunning? -
His middle name might as well be nobhead. Kai Nobhead Wayne Rooney.

Only just dropped in to this thread. Assumed from the title it was the usual Parky clipping from the Telegraph. Sorry to hear about what's happened, same to Jimbo. Good luck guys. K

The fat man is a proven liar so it's reasonable to assume this is more hogwash. Why the media report this is as fact is beyond me. At best he'll just be covering operating expenses with funds he extracted from the club in the first place. I expect he calls going for a shit "making a substantial deposit in an area of the business which is currently under water".

3 points geddin!

For Butt? I hope we're not trying to cling on now

Let's get another lads

Watching on BBC live text, looks like they've had the lion's share of possession and shots. Sounds like Hughton needs to do something....maybe a rocket up their backsides and a couple of subs?
