  1. The treatment of Barton today was also indefensible. Webb let them off with so many fouls it was unreal. I was waiting for his shirt to ride up and reveal the red and white underneath, the bald wanker.
  2. Harper was gash all day long except for the good save at the start and we paid the price for his inability to deal with balls into the box there. Criminal. Coloccini was my MOTM. I felt sure we had it but thanks to Howard Webb, Referee For Hire we've been cheated. You won't see a jammier result than that, domination for the entire 90 and even into Webb's imagined added time. Bollocks.
  3. Let's see what kind of strongman has taken over before we start patting ourselves on the back about 'popular revolt' and all that other crap. Military dictator Pervez Musharraf was ousted from rule in Pakistan in '08 according to the so-called will of the people and his democratically elected successors have proven to be a bunch of corrupt and ineffective liars who have, through their inaction, allowed the rule of law to degenerate and have lost control of entire regions of the country to terrorists. Be careful what you wish for.
  4. We all knew it was coming. How shit is Pardew?
  5. "Inherent class and moral justice." Is this fucking Amnesty International we're talking about or is it Sunderland AFC? I didn't think you could get drunk off blue pop, so maybe an overdose of cheesy chips clogged the sad bastard's brain. We'll do these. Feeling more and more confident as the hour approaches. Even in the midst of their best Premier League season ever, we'll still do the double over them and that'll rankle in their bitter little mackem hearts forever. If they finished 4th they'd still lie awake at night and think, "I'd give it up to have beaten the Mags." They'll be forever in our shadow and they know it. 2-0 tomorrow, I feel it coming.
  6. Benzema to Villa, not in this lifetime. Rags blatantly making things up now.
  7. We definitely need another striker and this fits with our model of signing Championship players and hoping they come good. Somehow I doubt Cardiff will want to part with him on the cheap though - I've seen upwards of 6m bandied about in the press when other clubs were linked to him.
  8. Unbelievable that this thick scouser (but I repeat myself) keeps coming back for more punishment. He gets absolutely nothing from anyone on this board, is openly ridiculed by all and sundry, has his settings changed at will by the admins and still keeps recycling the same lines about Cheryl Cole and 'the black dude from black eyed peas.' I wonder if he sits alone of a night laughing at his own jokes and how he put one over on the thick Geordie bastards on that webpage.
  9. West Ham should never win, they're definitely going down this season and I'm not sure we'll be seeing them again for years to come. This has been on the cards ever since the Icelanders crashed and burned, their squad has been littered with overpaid deadweight ever since and yet they continue to spunk out money on terrible players and managers. Wayne Bridge on 90k a week FFS.
  10. Tuncay wants out too. Stroppy cunt but a good player who's lived in the North East (sort of) before and would add some creativity to the side. Can't think he'd cost too much either as Pulis plainly doesn't favor him.
  11. Dodged a bullet on Bentley, dodged a bullet on Larsson, yeah, ok. By Feb 1 I wonder if we'll just have a fistful of 'bullets' and no players in. This squad needs depth. 20k a week would've been perfectly reasonable for Larsson.
  12. I fell for the first one tbh but the second was pretty obvious. When you pass that on, change it to Ghanaian forward, that name's never Egyptian.
  13. Newcastle fans: Howay the lads. Brum fans: Keep right on. Spurs fans: Come on you Spurs. ...Mackems: Fuck the Mags. Some rallying cry, isn't it?
  14. Obvious mackem. Run back to the rest of your inbred tribe/family and let them know you're about as subtle as a rhino.
  15. The Sarus Crane, the tallest bird capable of flight: The magnificent wandering albatross, the bird with the longest wingspan: For comparison:
  16. I'm more concerned about who's going to play on the left. We can put Nolan and Barton in the centre (even though I think Barton has been best out on the right this season) but I doubt Pardew will play Ferguson (and I don't think starting him in a derby would be a good plan, 'tough' or not the lad has the physique of Giovani dos Santos/a fifteen-year-old girl). I suppose if we get Larsson in he can play on the right and we'll shift Routledge to the left. I just hope Pardew has the sense not to try to play Barton wide left again as that was a disaster.
  17. Harry Harris's usual made-up garbage. "Newcastle are reported to have..." -- yes, the Sunday People have 'reported' it, but that doesn't make it true.
  18. Utterly atrocious. That load of wankers that went out there should be ashamed to wear the shirt, and Pardew wants his head looked at. We're a laughingstock again.
  19. Wonder how thats going to line up? Routledge on the left? NOLAN UP FRONT? Loven on the left, Routledge on right, Best alone up front? That's what I thought when I saw the first XI.
  20. Traore - why? Cause he's huge? Zigic and Meierhofer were both signed on that principle, both utter flops. Whelan - hardly even an upgrade on Guthrie, not a patch on Nolan, Barton or Tiote. On the cheap I guess I wouldn't say no. Larsson - I'd welcome this signing and it looks like it'll happen.
  21. Same lineup except move Kadar to LB and play Campbell in CB for me.
  22. I dont think you were right, iirc you thought he'd be sacked as we'd be doing shit not because he was never Ashley's man and not part of some hitherto unspecified plan to install his own manager and back him with cash in the next window, as per yesterday. Hughton may have been sacked but all your reasons were wrong. Also CT was expressing confidence about our prospects this season, which is what you had the problem with. It may be hypocritical but i dont stand to gain from it personally so am not arsed if you think that. I also have offered it in a perfectly reasonable manner rather than to prove someone else is a cunt. You're perfectly right that I thought we would be doing poorly and that's why Hughton would be out of a job, but my main point was to show that Fat Mike couldn't be trusted and would discard Hughton at the drop of a hat as a scapegoat (which is exactly what he did by waiting until we'd had a bit of a 'poor run' before sacking him rather than having the balls to remove him at the start of the season if he wanted 'his own manager' - not as though Hughton wasn't also 'his own manager' - in.) The problem that I had, and still have, was CT's blind faith in somebody who does not deserve it and who has demonstrated many times that he does not deserve it - and the fact that that same blind faith that he spews forth constantly on these boards is actually a load of shit, since he wasn't willing to back it up. And how do I "back up" blind faith? 12th day of Christmas was yesterday mate - back in your box until next year. (You remember perfectly well what the 'stakes' in our best were....)
