According to Hope, Dubravka doesn't want a new contract to keep him at the club longer, so what they're trying to do is engineer a situation where he gets some sort of bumper for staying til the end of the season. And hopefully he can still sign a deal with the Saudi lot, but just not go yet.

I think it can be reasonably argued that Isak's value is £150m. I don't think you could argue that Bruno and Gordon are worth more than 100. They might not even be worth 100. So you can't just demand outrageous amounts for them because the player will just go on strike if they want to leave. Nothing to say Isak wouldn't do the same if we held out for 150 but I genuinely don't think we'd be taking the piss if we said we wanted that money for him. We would with Bruno or Gordon if we just put non PSR friendly price tags on them. It would affect our dealings with other clubs too when we were looking to bring players in.
