"BALLOT SUCCESSFUL!"
-
Here's Opta's latest view, updated today. Weve got an 80% chance of CL per their model, Chelsea's is half that, and Villa's is only 10%. From the remaining fixtures, they expect teams to pick up points as follows: Man City: +8 points from 4 played. Forest: +8 points from 5 Us: +6 points from 4 Chelsea: + 5/6 points from 4 Villa: + 7 points from 4

I didn't read the article cos it was on some bullshit aggregator, but the headline I saw yesterday was that Mitchell is planning to do some business in June to capitalise on clubs that need to sell to avoid PSR issues. -
That red arrows shit that they pulled for the disallowed goal was hilarious. Nearly all of them were offside when the ball came in.

Aye, if his patter on the video is correct, that Villa, Chelsea, Man United, and Spurs all NEED CL, then you realise that anywhere from likely 2 to all 4 will to miss out, it's a pretty significant season in terms of upending the long standing order of things (Villa excepted cos they're newcomers to this, like us). -

Spurs have a cash flow problem. Pretty essential they don't spawn their way into the CL, cos if they don't they might have to have a complete reset of their Big 6 standing. Lovely stuff. -
He's gonna be offside here surely cos of their stupid fucking red arrows act before the kick was taken.
-
That's a bollocks booking mind. But Arteta's reaction ffs. He's a fucking disaster of a bloke.
-
That's a great tackle.

The US has decided we're a second or third order priority for a trade deal. We should absolutely walk away from this nonsense and focus on the EU and others. This is probably as good a chance as we have of getting better deals with other countries.
-
Having said that.... Would be very enjoyable to see them get wrecked at home tonight.
-
Sort of want Arsenal to get through so they're more focused on the final when we play them. Let's see though. Let them keep in touch tonight, then if results go our way at the weekend, they can get dumped out next week.

All of Bezos's arse kissing and financial support for Trump has done him no good. Amazon are getting blasted for a "hostile and political act" for saying they'll separately itemise the impact of tariffs on products on their site. I'd love to think he'll think twice next time Trump gives him an opportunity to buy his favour, but he won't.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/apr/29/two-men-felled-sycamore-gap-tree-mindless-criminal-damage-court-told These fucking idiots. Absolutely delighted to see their stupid text patter become public record.

They've put out an "apology", the only bit of which I've read seems to be them saying can we please not be fucking stupid and make out like this was a call to action.

SIXTY NIIIIINE BABY!

Absolutely lush aye. There's a big semi for sale at the minute there for £600k. I didn't know that about Monkhouse, the prick.

Gloom, I feel like you might be spending the next few weeks staring at fixture lists and league tables like... I share your pain btw. When the season gets to this stage, you just want all of the remaining fixtures to just happen immediately so you know the outcome. So as a proxy for that we sit like daft cunts trying to work it all out. I fully expect that Forest, Chelsea, and Villa are all going to drop some points between now and the end of the season and that we should be able to maintain our lead on at least two of them. But I'm not looking forward to having to watch it play out. If Brentford take points at Forest on Thursday though, that's a big step in the right direction, particularly because of Forest's last game being vs Chelsea.

Had to go to @Alexand @Monkeys Fist's Forest Hall manor this morning to drop something off on Northumberland Avenue. VERY swanky. Beautiful tree lined streets with fucking mansions up either side.

Aye that's fine. That's a bloke who wanted to commemorate his loyal career at that club. Salah's was a dirty, calculated money move. And any Liverpool fan reading this would say they won the league and they don't care, but that's bollocks cos if any other club pulled this they'd be first in line to tell us how mucky it was and that Liverpool Football Club are better than that.
