  1. His chin is haunted by the ghost of Jimmy Hill's chin too. One in off his massive chin in the last minute to put them out.
  2. % of unraised flags resulting in serious injury will be miniscule.
  3. Craig "IT'S A POTENTIAL DEATH TRAP" Hayton
  4. These fucking wankers bragging about how many cats they've got when I'm down to zero.
  5. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/may/14/matt-ritchie-my-dream-is-coming-to-an-end-you-have-to-reinvent-yourself
  6. I'll still find it hilarious if they blow it btw.
  7. It would be good for the region tbf which, setting rivalries aside, does matter. That place is properly run down and having a PL club would help. I'd sooner have them knocking about lower mid table than the likes of Fulham.
  8. That's my stepmam, you can do what you want with her.
  9. The benefit is fewer attacks are stopped incorrectly. Even with the rule in place, you still see linesman occasionally raise their flag incorrectly or raise their flag at the end of the passage of play and be wrong.
  10. My dad was saying he saw CT walking round the estate this morning, chewing on his fingernails and muttering about "... the threat of Wilson Isidor..." and "Luke 'the wall' O'Nien". My dad tried to approach but he just got "DANIEL FUCKING BALLARD" screamed in his face.
  11. Maybe when you have the mindset that we won't pick up another point from the middle of April onwards. Your nerves must be completely shot.
  12. I don't think you can blame that. Injuries happen in football matches, it's not the job of the linesman to prevent an impossible to foresee injury. There's hundreds of these no flag incidents across a season and the vast, vast majority end up fine. Unless the offside is blindingly obvious, I'm happy with them allowing play to proceed and checking it afterwards if there's a goal. There'll be WAY more attacks incorrectly halted than there would be serious injuries averted.
  13. I think you might be disappointed on the nerve jangling front. They're no better than they were when we brushed them aside in the cup, and we have moved up a gear since then with more to come in the summer. Obviously weird results happen in football, especially derbies, but there's a bigger gap between us and them than there is between us and Real Madrid these days. Their best hope is they get us after an away midweek in the CL.
  14. I don't think we'll ever know. The one truly excellent transfer window we had happened before he'd joined. If Minteh was his spot, then he helped get us out of a PSR hole, I guess.
  15. Not 100% sure this is true but I've heard Marinakis strode into the operating theatre to remonstrate with the doctors. Anyway I hope the lad is OK.
  16. Every time they show a crowd shot, remember that the people that you're looking at think nothing of having a shit in the street.
  17. No expense spared on those bits of red and white crepe paper.
  18. Ah I fucking hope Coventry knack them tonight. At least one of their fans should be turning up dressed as the ghost of Jimmy Hill.
  19. Feed it raw food. Ours gets raw food delivered. They're just like uncooked hamburger patties with sweet potato mixed in. From PL's neck of the woods down in Dorset. Cos he's not getting any carbs or biscuity type food, his shites are a) tiny and b) barely smell at all. I literally have a dog whose shit doesn't stink.
  20. I know Rob Lee gets caught in the crossfire here but I do enjoy "how DARE you come with that midfield?!" For context they're picking the best XI of players they've played alongside and Richards has just named Viera and Yaya Toure as his CM pairing.
