  1. Wasn't Christmas the month before last? Why is it people have all the solutions after the opportunity to actually get them out there?
  2. "Sorry I was wrong and a cunt. I'm fucking off, here have the club and let it be run by a supporter elected committee. Oh and Lonsdale is shite."
  3. I saw a leopard yesterday and you know what? He still had spots.
  4. I can see that going down like a turd in a swimming ool. Snappy tho Funny isn't that what Ashley's all about?
  5. Appropriately as I'm sitting in Berlin typing this. On a red or yellow shirt with Ashley's face imposed on a picture of Hitler standing at the podium addressing the crowd. "Even Hitler spoke to his supporters" Or just text. "If Bush is another word for cunt, What's Ashley?"
  6. Hopefully it's Shay letting in a few more at citeh to help us.
  7. Oh Wolfie you're such a killjoy somedays. I did look at his profile but not being efficent and German I only checked the threads started option, not his last post. Thanks for the heads up.
  8. I haven't seen the mighty hog around for a bit. Anyone know where he's got to?
  9. For anyone interested in a good rock band, Noo Zeelaund's the datsuns are playing at Newcastle Cluny Wednesday 11 Feb. These guys were going to be huge, then Jet came along and stole their thunder (also the sstones arrangements & zepplin's guitar sound). Which is a good thing because the datsuns are still worth seeing. I know there are a few 65daysofstatic fans so a heads up they are playing two pre tour gigs. The tickets for the gig in Barrow are 6 quid each. Lastly anyone going to Elbow at Newcastle Academy in March? Anyone got two spare tickets they may want to sell?
  10. Alex when are you in Belguim? Xmas box off wor lass and it's end of March iirc. I'll confirm the dates (do remind me though). Which reminds me, I need to sort the accomodation out. Ok. If it happens to be around the 21 Feb there are free tickets for you for something in Hassalt, near Genk if you want them.
  11. Alex when are you in Belguim?
  12. Gives us a bell when you're in Ham or Berlin, Meenz has the number. Actually 22 Feb we need to tickets for the St Pauli match, wanna help? We promise not to tease you because your frau insists on you sitting down to piss! We promise! I'll look into it mate. Parky, not that you remembered but don't stress it marra, we got tickets to the Kaiserslautern match online last night. When are you over? Next week.
  13. Hankies, coffins, armbands. This is the reason I dont go to NUSC meetings. Maybe I was brought up a little more left wing/working class but we arent fucking disagreeing with the price of bagels at the golf club. We need to be thinking more Miners Strike of 84, radical times call for radical actions. People seem qite happy to let us go down as long as it means not having to miss a match this season. I fucking despair i do! Time for the straight edge soldier to take charge! Good luck getting the pint out of their hand.
  14. Even just the entire ground standing up would do it. Problem is though that if you are going to have a demonstration at the game then you do need to be aware of those that dont want to demonstrate. Standing is a problem regardless and if those behind me (for the next 14 rows ) dont want to stand then the protest is going to piss them off. Well hopefully that's the day baggio, the cunt, finally goes to a game and gets a ticket directly behind you.
  15. Fucking hell, I bet he's two inches taller once he gets that off his chest of an evening.
  16. I was thinking exactly along those lines myself Again you are expecting people to organise themselves and remembering to bring an armband. Turning your back on the game, requires no extra thought than just being there. Do it for the first 15 minutes only if need be but it is simple to organise and effective. Everyone wear a black armband at the game? Not a bad idea like. The only thing about turning you back during the game is a lot of people would see it as anger towards the players (not that they've done brilliant or owt) when anything done needs to be blatently obvious its about the ownership of the club. But still a possibility if organized well. The other problem of course is its all seater! how the fuck do we all turn our backs when sitting down? (I didnt quite think that one through fully like). The black armband is good but then again where do you buy them? Ive not seen them in ASDA. I do like the idea of black though, surely everyone owns a black t-shirt, jumper, jacket, shirt etc. An entire sea of black across the ground would be an effective display without having to do anything at all other than get dressed in the morning. hereby lies the problem (for some) Exactly and it's all well and good for old goths like Pud but what an Erasure swinging hound like gemmill going to do? Pud, think how much standing and turning your back would piss them off.
  17. Normal, normally this sort of thing isn't normal on toontastic. So first post and you're abnormal already.
  18. Don't worry Scotty, chances are if big Marc is touring he'll have a show in Newcastle for you soon! By the way Elbow is sold out, so now we'll have to go to Sheffield to see them
  19. I see Lordi are playing at the Docks later this month, with Marc Almond playing shows in March for you Gemmill. http://www.docks.de/index.php?action=konzert I think we might go see Sister of Mercy for a 80s gothtastic moment.

    Oscars

Do you? Why? If Ledger hadn't topped himself it would of just gone down as another ok support role in another comic book film. But a couple of uppers, downers and bit of coke later and he's guaranteed to win anything he's nominated in. Award on merit, not because the clowns eyeliner ran.
  24. Oh look Baggio logging into toontastic in the dead of night and slagging off people who actually want to help the club before it's all too fucking late! We don't even have to make it up. Seriously how do you not feel the guilt for backing these cunts as they tear us asunder The easiest protest to coordinate is to get the crowd to turn their backs on the field. The cameras would go ape covering it, whereas a lot of the protests mentioned so far require people to organise themselves prior to the game. As much as it would pain me because I get to SJP only once in a blue moon, if a turn your back protest was organised for the games we are going to in the next couple of months, then turning our back we will be.
