  1. that brought a tear to my eye, nicest thing I have had said about me. We had two seats at the Trent for you this evening anarl!
  2. Yeah Century said it was too.....but people are blasting steven for it on here? Hmmm That explains all! It was Saylor.
  3. GL you've just confirmed that you didn't see the watch, Martins was shite and if he was fat, white and taller could easily been mistaken for Viduka. There are a lot of dumb sports people in the world but Martins doesn't even have instinct. It's depressing.
  4. welcome home berb you clown you.
  5. Tip is not optional! Not my route but would have thought about a tenner. Much better idea to jump on the metro. No wonder you're taking hand outs from SJP PR department to post on here, you're undercharging! 15 quid last night to Chinatown and there was no traffic. I think the firms that can't pick you up if you try to flag them down on the street will do it for a set fee of 11.50, Blueline??? Metro's great if you're not hauling seven weeks worth of luggage.
  6. What's the fucking point in publishing that? It's not telling us anything we don't already know. Very strange. Out of nowhere, and for no obvious reason that I can think of. It's also curious that the club is speaking on Keegan's behalf - strikes me as a bit odd anyway for the club to be making statements in the name of both parties. Why not just say the club is in the arbitration process and will be making no comments? And, as you say, it tells us nothing we don't know. I've been trying to work out what might have prompted this but can't think of anything at all. Because he is coming back, simple as. We're you bieng sarcastic there or not? Not at all, said in a post yesterday that I think they will be in crisis talks today and it wouldnt surprise me in the least if for a number of reasons, KK coming back was the final outcome. Fingers crossed anyway. Would be great but I honestly can't see it Fingers crossed though.. More likely it is preemptive PR. When they are forced to fork out millions of pounds in compensation to the Keegler, they can point to this press release as another example that they tried to rehire him. And because they had to pay him out there is only 4.60 left for summer transfers.
  7. I made that call weeks ago and he didn't have the bottle then to admit the truth. Obviously the club's spam PR policy is based on the same ethos as the rest of their decisions. Avoid the truth at all costs.
  8. That's my categorical view. I've been willing to accept a couple of games easing them back in from the bench (especially as we beat West Brom) but we now have to cut to the chase - any game where it doesn't happen is even more of a write off. Strange isn't it, that its obvious to all the fans, yet the "proffessionals" we pay to do the job find it beyond them. I'm sure most people on here have problems with Viduka and/or Martins to varying degrees, as neither is perfect, but both are streets ahead of Shola etc and both can win a match. If they tire, then take them off after having got as long as possible out of them. I remember watching SSN and they were discussiing the relagtion candits and Merson said if Viduka stys fit and plays enough games we would stay up easilly, if he doesn't play we'll go down! Not usual the voice of reason Merson but people in the game do rate Viduka's ability, except for our management of course! Not rocket science. Is Houghton just a bit thick? With Ashley in charge chances are it's a prerequisite!
  9. The club shop in the city has him for 50% off.
  10. Aye. Not quite made the same impact as when Bellamy called Souness it though. Can someone explain why Hughton waited until there were 12 mins to go to make his first tactical substitution as well? I think some managers just think it's common practise as opposed to making the substitution for a reason. Yesterday it actually looked like they were going to put Viduka on about the same time Butt got injured and then they changed their mind because they were forced into subbing Butt. This was around the 20 minutes to go mark I think. What I don't get is when you know you need to do something tactically but an injury happens, why not make both subs anyway! Shy bairns and all that.
  11. People are quite cavalier in areas without cameras - the thing you have to watch is that > 100mph is usually an automatic driving ban. And are all cameras painted orange? No they vary - some are signposted and they also sometimes have mobile units which they hide behind bridges. I don't think its worth the hassle - I usually just stick to 70-80. Oh.
  12. sammy you twat, there is no Y in ute! It's a HR anyway
  13. No but they do start getting trigger happy with the ban button You might want to look closer to home as to why people want you banned.

  15. Mmm obviously people don't give a toss as I was doing a ton at one stage and others were going past me!
  16. I know this is a stupid question but what is the maximum speed on an English motorway? Obviously you get things like a 50mph sign at road works but then when all is clear there is nothing. I've driven autobahns and outback Australia (NT) where there are (were) no actual speed limits but the motorways are as confusing as fuck.
  17. Remember the time (and it wasn't that long ago) when it didn't matter who we were playing, you always knew there was a chance to take points from them. Now we might take a point seems a highlight.
  18. We got there just after half-time, had to buy a second set of tickets and we're still waiting for the team to turn up! Can someone tell me when Gavin McCann because Franz Beckenbauer because our midfield made the cunt look as good as the kaiser?
  19. Got tickets, missed the ferry, the only cunts I hate more than Seaways are the cunts that own and run our club!
  20. They were protesting against the league over games being moved for TV. All pregame and for the first 20 minutes they refused to acknowledge the team and sang anti DSF, their sports channel, songs. It was amazing and made all the national papers.
  21. It's all one person's fault, fuck that's a big call. He's painful in his ability not to play but to blame him on Leed's downfall is frankly laughable. Oh wait it's John Carew's fault Villa aren't going to win the champions league next season, isn't it?
  22. Not that it fucking matters because there is a boycott on all things not ticket related! Oh and Dr they are 70 quid for the Man U game! Hope your as vocal with your bed sheet on Sunday at the doors to Shearers. At least I'm honest about my position opposed to being the hired lacky.
