1. It was made clear that nobody would be paid for anything they did, all things would be acountable but it would be a fighting fund as such, allowing for promotion material to be made, Printing costs that sort of thing. I dont think anyone will know properly until it has been discussed and formulated into a proper plan. One thing I would expect is that all this would be made clear if/when the thing goes live ie you wouldnt be expected to pay up without being told about accountability. 2. Im not sure that you will ever get everyones voices heard but what you can do is canvass the majority ie via the likes of here. I would expect the association to have a website with a facilty for members only to vote etc. 3. I would hope it would, basically it would be made clear to the press that the views of nufc fans are only official if they come from the SA. Anything else can be taken as the personal view of the speaker. We would have to recognise that sometimes these views would be given by the SA when they havent been able to canvass the opinion but thats unavoidable. At least you'll know that the release has some credibility. A website endorsed by all the major fanzine/website owners for fee paying subscribers to vote (rather than wax lyrical) on subjects that impact the fans sounds good to me I have to say. Certainly wouldn't get a bunch of Mackems distorting the view like you do in any other poll whether online, in the paper or on tv/radio. How many people are subscribed to NUFC World? Talking about good rants, you'd have to consider not only has Ashley got everything wrong regarding the hiring and firing of KK but the simple fact he's tried it on with the fans of a club that has been patient and more forgiving of false dawns, than probably any other club in the world. (I can't think of another club the size of ours that has had half the disappointments we've had in the last 50 years?) If you really wanted to offer up hope and then snatch it away, all the while claiming to be the victim, how fucking stupid do you have to be to try that with toon fans. This is my greatest concern. Imagine all the SSN cameramongs with their votes- "RONALDO 4 TOON LOLZ". Some of their ideas are decent but the share ownership structure is a mess- these things should be kept as simple as possible so as to rule out future disputes. I still don't think an all-cash buyout is a particularly efficient way of executing the deal. The thing is if you bought shares in Microsoft you wouldn't expect to be involved in the day to day running. Football is a business, albeit an entertainment business but why if the club was owned by shareholders should they have the expectation to have anymore input that say those that have BT shares? They shouldn't and just like Ashley has fucked up, if the club was owned by supporters it would need to hand over the day to day running to an elected, competent footballing board. (by the way see my post re-myfootballclub. The other important difference is one is non league, the other is competing in the richest league in the world.)

If you wanted further proof the Ebbsfleet experiment is another example. Yes they let the shareholders vote on everything but 90% of the things they ask you to vote on is whether the manager/board/tea lady should have the veto to choose for the shareholders.
