  1. Definitely made the correct decision not to watch this live. As others have said Howe's plan A is decent but it needs better players to for it to always be successful. Why keep slinging in crosses to a CF that isn't reknown for being a header of the ball, all the while we have a battering ram sat on the bench? Why constantly slow the attack down when our CF has the pace and ability to put defenders on their arse? Wood got a lot of shite off fans but we can see Isak is just as isolated because the service isn't there. Maybe wor Eddie needs to think about dumping the inverted wingers for a game or two in the hope that players on on their preferred foot can provide better attacking balls (not just crosses but slide rule passes) - imagine what we'd be like with an in his prime Nobby Solano on the right side?
  2. Worked it out, it’s tooner! Sorry again @aimaad22 didn’t mean to put you in with the moose fucking lumberjacks.
  3. Mate, the cabbage isn’t even good enough for American Samoa! So who’s the moose fucker, it’s one of the loonytoons, isn’t it?
  4. I was positive it was you who was jumping for joy when they qualified for the WC. Sorry then @aimaad22 I hope Bruce ends up managing whatever national team you actually support then, just to make us all feel better.
  5. All good, family left there when I was very young and relocated to the other steel city south of Sydney, with regular 3 month school holiday stints in Newie with the grandparents until I was an early teen I have a love for the place, even though it was a dirty poor industrial city. It has had a bit of a rejuvination since the steelworks closed and is not the place it was, But to be fair I've lived longer in Sydney than in either of those places. WSW are probably second on the Jets most hated list but that has more to do with the fact they like to steal any half decent player we have. BTW you do know Newcastle has a greater footballing history than anywhere else in the country? Before they got that shite rugby league team, football was king in Newcastle.
  6. Yeah not sure about that, seeing he's ended up at West Brom (so not playing CL) under the cabbage and didn't sign until 12 September, so 11 days after the window closed. Stinks of release and desperation by all involved.
  7. Trust me K, as someone born but not raised in Newcastle (Upon Hunter) we hate the fucking Coasties and mate, I said mate, what do you think a makem is, if not a rabid bogan (aka charva) in the shadow of their larger, more impressive neighbour?!?? Plus besides CCM have been shite for most of their time as a footballing enitity and it often has been a toss up between them and the Wellington Wankers, I mean Phoenix, for the wooden spoon, with the Jets just (scrapping) in above them. The last two season were anomalies, they will return to be shite soon.
  8. Hasn’t that ship sailed with the “he got raped there!” comment he made when he was slurping from the boat?
  9. That’s where @aimaad22 is from, so just wanted to scare him! Had a look Rogic wasn’t even on the bench tonight and only signed for them on Monday 12 Sept as a free agent, so knowing cabbage’s fitness plan Rogic’s arse will be too large to fit on the plane. Ange released him, so I’d say he’s fucked anyway if that’s the case.
  10. Guaranteed to be the next Canadian national team manager now! Btw I only just found out Rogic has been signed from Celtic by West Brom, decent player, in Scotland but a bit of a crock and way too slow for the Championship. Also another Central Coast makem, so perfect for the cabbage!
  11. Well for starters Central Coast is the Sunderlund of Australia's Newcastle, admittedly last season was more spewa Kev's Sunderlund than 2021/22 but no less. Garang looks okay, he's not played a lot to be fair but he's young and very slight. From the games I've seen him play, which is 2 or 3, I wouldn't have figured he'd make it to the highest level of football, maybe 2nd or 3rd tier. But I'm not Dan Ashworth and his lot must see something in Kuol. There is definitely an opportunity for a profit to be made on the lad as they will get him for a few hundred thousand at most and should be able to sell him on for a couple of million but here's hoping he turns out to be the next Drogba.
  12. I hooked the fuckers out of my life and I’ve been free as a birdie ever since!
  13. Even less chance of the football? Two bank holidays in quick succession (unlike Chuck)? #princeofpegging gets a new handle?
  14. FFS Jean Luc Goddard and Uncle Jack both on the same day - RIP you film legends. https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2022/sep/13/uncle-jack-charles-indigenous-actor-and-activist-dies-aged-79 https://www.theguardian.com/film/2022/sep/13/jean-luc-godard-giant-of-the-french-new-wave-dies-at-91
  15. Or in exchange for a six pack of hefe weissen if you know where CT lives.
  16. National public (Bank) holiday here on Thursday 22/09, got a day in lieu on Friday 23rd, so four day weekend for some of us and the lovely Ms_Nb has zero interest in watching anything to do with the royals! Fucking win for us sunburnt scousers! [/stevie]
  17. Fuck you Robin, I'd just logged out! Give over man, she can't have everything!
  18. Fuck yeah, I'm up for that but be prepared when I don't sound like Jimbo and I'm a shite load funnier than Davey!
  19. Also why does the Queen get two minutes? I always thought it was a minutes silence (or applause depending). Is there a scale of silences I've been unaware of for the last 54 years? WTF!
  20. FYI make sure you go to Zagreb and not Melbourne if you want big Dukes as the first guest as the big fella's not be back to Australia for years. He's easy to find as he owns the only coffee shop in Croatia that is showing the aerial ping pong.
  21. This should be NZ’s first president. I’d take him for here as no doubt he’d be better than some of the Galahs that will be suggested. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CGUGsPLg_Tw
