Backing of the fans my arse - the only plebs stupid enough to back this chump are the sort of numbwits who inhabit N-O... and we all know the majority of them aren't real fans

I've had a near death experience, every bloody week watching our shower of shite

They missed the 'Newcastle United: building for the future in the lower leagues' off the title.

It all seems in extremely bad taste to me. It sums up everything that is wrong with this country right now. See this is the problem, she isn't a particularly nice person, no saint at all and as thick as mince. Don't get me wrong, I do feel sorry for her because it's a horrible thing to happen but for them all to be heaping praise on her and making her out to be some sort of angel is ridiculous. All this press coverage over a celebrity nobody, insane.

Exactly, let's face it French and Scottish football isn't much better than glorified pub leagues

Ashley to try to halt season ticket sale decline...
TheMoog replied to smoggeordie's topic in Newcastle Forum
That is the truly frightening thing - the depth of incompetence that keeps being demonstrated by Ashley Llambias Wise, whichever of them is making decisions is astounding. There seems to be absolutely no understanding of our position, what is needed for the future or how to get there. Leadership is completely absent, no one is responsible for anything, and the recent attempts at communication have been almost worse than the silence that preceeded it. I genuinely am worried for the future of the club, probably more so if Ashley isnt trying to asset strip and turn a profit. If he thinks the current situation and management of it is anywhere near satisfactory he is completely deluded Aye, they seem oblivious to the seriousness of the situation as though it's a case of everything being ok, if not ideal. I think that they think they have plenty of time to do what they want with their 'business plan', what they don't realise is that football isn't like any other business. -

Here's an idea Ashley, as a sign of good faith on your part and that you're bothered about what the fans think sack that little cunt Dennis Wise and apologise for fucking Keegan about. -
Steve Bruce ready to take over at Newcastle United
TheMoog replied to Asprilla's topic in Newcastle Forum
Sad times at our club but it's probably the best time Bruce will ever have of being the manager here and being accepted by the majority of the fans. -
I bet it was 'Schoolgirls' night at the club, just trying to fit in with the rest of the Smogs

The Necroscope series of books by Brian Lumley - sort of a horror/crime/sci fi thing all rolled in to one.

There's our future mapped out in black and white
TheMoog replied to Snake's topic in Newcastle Forum
I'm starting to think this 5 year plan is to consolidate, not spend, just stay scraping through each year and barely avoiding the drop until all debts have been paid off. Once that's done any profit can be spent on players... ... of course we all know that football doesn't work like that, it's not a normal business. Deep down I think there's no point in following the club while Ashley's owning it, if only it was that bloody simple. -
Bryan Robson til the end of the season is the latest name in the papers...
-
Sadly they won't get rid of Wise so I think it's a non-starter, I'd be more than happy with Shearer as manager though.
-
I don't agree with you over him doing a good job after Souness, I'm firmly of the belief that the decent spell at that time was more to do with Shearer helping him out - it wasn't until he went it alone that it started to go down hill.

Says the guys with 72

Big fucking whoop! He's bloody injured more often than not, and 10 goals in all comps seems pretty poor to me for the club's main goalscorer.
-
Whoever they bring in would have to have connections to Spurs and possibly be a Londoner... uh oh.
-
It must be bad, I'm considering that Poyet wouldn't be that bad...

Sky's reporting that Portsmouth have approached Sven ... shame we couldn't have gone for him rather than JFK.

I read that as "She 'has' a smug twat" at the first glance!
