I've been getting regular virus alerts when opening this site over the last week or so, mainly trojans, is there something afoot? It's only this site that I'm haaving alerts for both at home and at work (so even on different machines).

That is the truly frightening thing - the depth of incompetence that keeps being demonstrated by Ashley Llambias Wise, whichever of them is making decisions is astounding. There seems to be absolutely no understanding of our position, what is needed for the future or how to get there. Leadership is completely absent, no one is responsible for anything, and the recent attempts at communication have been almost worse than the silence that preceeded it. I genuinely am worried for the future of the club, probably more so if Ashley isnt trying to asset strip and turn a profit. If he thinks the current situation and management of it is anywhere near satisfactory he is completely deluded Aye, they seem oblivious to the seriousness of the situation as though it's a case of everything being ok, if not ideal. I think that they think they have plenty of time to do what they want with their 'business plan', what they don't realise is that football isn't like any other business.

Here's an idea Ashley, as a sign of good faith on your part and that you're bothered about what the fans think sack that little cunt Dennis Wise and apologise for fucking Keegan about.

Sad times at our club but it's probably the best time Bruce will ever have of being the manager here and being accepted by the majority of the fans.

I'm starting to think this 5 year plan is to consolidate, not spend, just stay scraping through each year and barely avoiding the drop until all debts have been paid off. Once that's done any profit can be spent on players... ... of course we all know that football doesn't work like that, it's not a normal business. I don't agree with you over him doing a good job after Souness, I'm firmly of the belief that the decent spell at that time was more to do with Shearer helping him out - it wasn't until he went it alone that it started to go down hill.
