  1. And fucking proud of it. I had a cracking cut off levi jacket with Quo artwork on the back.
  2. The Avenue was the "go to" no bother getting served underage pub in my youth, don't think I ever went in after I was "legal"
  3. Pretty much 😂 Not enough hair mind.
  4. Aye, add Fat Sams a few times, Monkey Bar (Market Lane) Percy and The Farmers we definitely weren't students and we had shitloads of hair. Edit: The Jubilee before it became Trillians. More often we were at the coast, if Monkseaton route would be selection of Kittiwake, Beacon, Hunting Lodge, Ship, Black Horse, Monkey. In Whitley route Monkey, Ox, Ship (as was, now fuck knows) Mingles.
  5. Farmers was other corner over the road from the supporters club shop (hut) lost the Farmers for M&S. Was always our last orders stop, where the decision would be made between home or the Mayfair.
  6. Owners of Peppers used to own the Fat Ox in Holywell until a few (4 or 5) years ago, Ox then was a cash only pub, pretty sure it was probably some dodge to create losses in the Ox to offset profit at Peppers. Heard they'd sold Peppers for £2 Mill a while ago, could just be a village rumour, but wasn't from a usual gossip source.
  7. Middle lad chunters on, occasional waffle from lad on right, middle lad continues to waffle on (looks at lad on left pleading for him to chip in - nowt) middle lad waffle, waffle, glances at lad on left more and more, all but pleading for him to say something, FINALLY lad on left speaks and low and behold the cunt's an Isak apologist "Gyokeres isn't blameless". Middle lad waffles to try and rescue things, patently wishing lefty had just remained shut up. Great stuff 😂😂😂
  8. 30 year old "kids" 🙄
  9. Fuck off with that shit, stop making a spectacle of yourself.
  10. Be a bit heavy if it's authentic and made from girders!!!
  11. Batman couldn't make it, they were Reliant on Robin.
  12. It goes back to the Israeli strike in Qatar, who'd just been lavishing multi million $$$ gifts on Trump. He definitely didn't like the possible consequences of that affecting his ill gotten gains.
  13. There's some stuff going around that this was actually a Biden initiative, but Netanyahu wouldn't countenance it:
  14. Incompetence leads to firings/resignations/criminal charges, especially in a failure of intelligence of that severity and there's been diddly squat as fas I know. I would also suggest that it would be quite easy (though not risk free) to subdue any information within the intelligence organisations who are "secret" after all. Seven days previous to it Egypt reportedly warned Israel that Hamas was planning something imminently and much bigger than the usual few rockets over the border. Nothing was done. There's also the unanswered question of how many casualties were caused by Israel as they activated the Hannibal doctrine. https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2024-07-07/ty-article-magazine/.premium/idf-ordered-hannibal-directive-on-october-7-to-prevent-hamas-taking-soldiers-captive/00000190-89a2-d776-a3b1-fdbe45520000 As for Hamas being an Israeli asset, Hammas was a small fringe group of little consequence until it was funded to grow and oppose the PLO in Arafat days by [checks notes] Israel. Now I don't believe they are assets in the true sense, they're an Iranian proxy, but it's easy to turn a blind eye and let stuff happen. Then there's the assassination of Rabin in the 70's by a right wing Israeli opposed to the peace process at that time, one of whose known associates was a Shin Bet (Israel's internal security service) agent, the agent was aquitted of complicity (of course he was) but the Israeli far right (who are now in power) are extremely radical. If Netanyahu loses power he's going to jail, him and his cohorts will do anything to avoid that.
  15. As was letting Oct 7th happen, IMO. I remain to be convinced otherwise.
  16. Sincerely hope the Faroes and Wales don't qualify, it could get messy.
  17. When I worked for an offshore engineering company (deep sea ship shit) the servers on the vessels were forever falling over, nine times out of ten it was always porn, gig upon gig upon gig of porn, no-one ever got sacked "there'd be no-one left" I was told. We'll tell the Captain to sort his men's shit out, they never did. Somewhere out in the ocean there is an iceberg sized homogenised mass of jiz riddled tissues floating about.
  18. Had a better qualification record than England until 98 I believe.
  19. Shame Desmon Tutu's dead, he'd have had some ideas for how we train.
