Congrats to both you and Susan, Ritchie.... GREAT news!

Do some housekeeping on your machine (delete tmp files etc). and also clear your internet cache... Should save them as JPEGs after that.

That address has surely got High Spen missing from it? (It's the next street along from the school I went to before anyone asks).

FCUM I think we lost him around the time of the merger when the likes of UglyMackems, AlanShearerIsGod and some others layed into him quite heavily for posting as a non-Newcastle fan on a toon board. Shame like, because despite his allegiances he was one of the best posters we have back then.

we already have  added :hand: Interesting that the second one came from N-O - guess who supplied them with them

And later on, walking into an Ambulance when he arrived in Bristol. Remarkable recovery considering - glad the little fella is OK.

IMO the best there is by a country mile...

It's a piece of cake and doesn't require any forum downtime. Also, as smilies are generally small (in terms of k) it should only take a matter of minutes to upload them. Configuring the forum to use the new ones, depending on how you do it, should take no longer than 5 - 10 mins. Oh and Gemmill If you've got FTP access to the forum, you can use an FTP client (e.g. WS_FTP) to simply drag and drop them in the correct directory on the server. It's what I do for here... Yeah that's what I meant when I said about uploading them. Is the latest version of WS_FTP any good? Last time I used it, I thought it was a pile of balls so I switched to SmartFTP.[/nerd_speak] Couldn't tell you, I use LeechFTP as I never liked WS_FTP. On a different note it's good to see Gemmill's finally got his sig sorted out!

Angles Caroline, angles....

It's from the BBC's "Day in pictures" feature, plus it has the GettyImages tag so therefore I'd say it's been doctored in any way.

Fixed! And also re-hosted on imageshack (to spare Matt's bandwidth).

No pleasing some folk! (As soon as I saw a reply from Ritchie, I knew he'd be pointing out a repost! )

Excellent BBCode usage there Mr Hayton! It's amended!

Just did that and now have a lovely 25% discount for 12 months I was offered half price but only for 3 months. I'm doing something similar with NTL for broadband. They can't for the life of them understand why I haven't transferred to their broadband service from dial-up. They are evidently keen to switch off the dial-up and are offering incentives in order to do so. The latest offer from them is 2meg broadband at £7.99 a month for the next 3 years (before it reverts to it's standard price). I'm waiting til they drop that to a fiver and then I'll sign up!

who you kidding. mp3s killed minidisc stone dead! In terms of popularity, I agree - in terms of quaility, MP3 is excellent, but it's slightly inferior. Have you ever played an mp3 through a decent sound system? Even a high bit-rate, it still has short-comings in terms of clarity. On a standard system, you can't notice the difference. As I said, the market was thriving a few years back and I prefer them as re-writable media!

I still have a MiniDisc player and plenty of MiniDiscs. The pre-recorded market never took off but the market for using them as re-writable media was thriving a few years back. Combining CD quality with the versatility of cassettes, I still prefer it as re-writable media to a CD-RW
