I really don't get this "embarrassed by mongs" malarkey. Everybody really knows that all clubs have some idiots and everybody knows that the cameras look for them. Whats the big deal here ? Just a light hearted look at the situation mate - no big deal

Latest developments one farce Toon far

Cripes cliche-tastic -
Tbh I am dreading it if the nigerians takeover - not because i think we don't need it but because of the mongs outside sjp when the sky cameras get there. It was bad enough when it was Dubai i doubt there would have been a tea towel left in a kitchen drawer so it could be draped over there heeds - there would have had to be extra security on the 'aint half hot mum' wardrobe dept if ambani had bought us but bloody hell they'll be wandering around with assegai spears, kudu skin shields and grass skirts if this one goes through

From what has been dished up so far i would tend to agree - but i can't see him taking any shite off the likes of wise et al much the same as keegan so it would surprise me if this was a non starter - i thought he was a little unlucky with some of his signings - Tomasson went on to be a good player with milan and the likes and andersson looked a superstar when he played for sweden but neither could hack it in our league. I think he had a similar success rate of transfers to sir bob -in my opinion like - not that it really matters like cos i reckon its all media shite-but then as has been proved what do any of us really know
-
A bit churlish in places and nobody was wanting him out till he fucked keegan over - its not about the money - its about undermining the manager with that twat wise - all very sentimental but methinks this decision was made a while ago and i don't think his ailing fortune would mind an injection of 300million big ones

Exactly. I know of someone who, very calmly, got talking to Lambias (spelling?) outside the box office before the Bolton game and told him how ridiculous the season ticket fiasco was and that him or someone should at least have the decency to make an apology at halftime about the mess. Lambias just laughed and said "that is a big over reaction" and had no idea how much hassle/worry it had caused fans. This lot (the board) are cuntish in the extreme and it really wouldn't surprise me as stated that this just the beginning of a ham - fisted attempt to discredit keegan via their cuntish southern media hack friends - more shit will follow and they hold the newcastle people and fans in such disdain that they will expect us to lap it up - they can fuck off for me - don't beleive a word of it Surprise!!! Well well, didn,t take them long to prove that theory right - I thought Shepherd had a ham fisted approach but this lot make him look Henry fucking Kissinger

Whether he stays or not its a testament to him and the fans that so many turned up at the ground to support him - can't think of many other clubs/managers that would invoke that sort of reaction - deluded we maybe but deserving of better than these shambolic episodes we definitely are
-
Nothing would surprise me - even if it is a requirement for new people coming in - after all if I was buying the club and didn't want keegan as manager i would prefer not to sack a legend as my opening gambit
-
Watched him against liverpool - looks ok and had a decent bit of pace but gave the ball away a bit - seems alot of money and not sure whether he could maintain that energy level consistently throughout a season
-
Could have been worse - shame to see finnan go to espanyol - i always liked him as a player - its just a bit frustrating because of the last few years we are viewed as a middle ranking club and have seem to have lost the panache and excitement of the robson era - I still think keegan can do it with a bit of time but it would have been nice if ashley had done a shinawatra when asked by the abu dhabi people and stepped aside

Owen offered improved contract, 3 year extension
Norbert Colon replied to Matty's topic in Newcastle Forum
He has no reason to not sign it like - he has always maintained that he likes the club - unless of course he was talking shite - personally hope he does stay - just hope they bring some players in of a similar quality -

Wonder if the timing of this announcement has anything to do with the transfer window closing tomorrow - just speculating like but seems odd to announce they have offered the contract when he hasn't actually signed it - maybe a hurry up gesture on the part of the club to get it sorted once and for all - cos if he stalls he starts negotiations in january elsewhere -
Hey- fair enough - i never said he was shite - but if he does sign for us and the same thing happens next season i will say fuck all - it will be ragin on here - christ if that had happened to one of our lot last season he would have been nailed to a stake ps.never said taylor was better- just similar in quality
-
Pretty much all of this What that Dunne is no better than Taylor? well i must be thinking of a different player to the one that got pissed on by fernando torres and is generally viewed as a solid, if somewhat clumsy, central defender with a good attitude (man city fans obviously love him cos he is there man) , so which category does taylor not fall into? - by the way i am no great fan of taylor - but beleive if you can't improve on him why fork 4-5 mill on the same quality Dunne is the best defender outside the top 4 barring Lescott. One bad game does not make him a bad defender. Its all about opinions and i will leave mine there - but we will see who he goes to and how he performs
-
If this discussion had anything to do with you then i would attempt to assemble a reply - as it is though i haven't even got the will to verbally abuse you so why not just pop off and have a chat with your scouse chums

Aye for the last ten years there have been too many players whose ambition was to sign for us knowing full well that they would acheive millionaire status and be able to take their foot off the pedal comfortable in the knowledge that non-acheivment was tolerated While that is completely true, I think it`ll take a few seasons to stop the rot and a lot of patience from KK and his team. The whole mentality has to change and that will mean sacrifice. The rot is quite deep but not unassailable. And your point is?

Yeah i agree but opposing defenders aren't scared of milner as he as no pace at all, if he had pace he'd b a wright phillips imo (similar end products) Totally agree - not enough skill to compensate for the fact he has no pace - however a good team man and worker and i think if eighty percent of the rest of the squad had his attitude we would have been top eight last season - personally wouldn't like to see him go but would have to accept a back up role on the bench - unless daft money was being waved about then ok
-
Would rather tie him up on a new deal than spend daft money on the likes of dunne - he is easily as good as him (though i don't reckon taylor is a superstar or anything) Dunne got raped and humiliated by Torres - no better than what we have got

The thing the worries me is that trying to financially restructure and progress is a bit like trying to loss body fat and put on muscle mass at the same time. It is hard to do both at the same time. Keegan would have every right to be annoyed if he came here under the pretence of "money's no object (never true, of couse, but never the less) we want success", and now is finding himself trying to progress whilst in a financial straight jacket (even if that is going to be a good thing long term). Maybe (i don't know like cos i am not an insider) the whole managment structure has looked at it and have decided that its not so much wage structure as paying over the odds for complete wastes of space like emre - it galls me (and its not even my money) so it must gall ashley that so much money goes on these wankers who only play one game in five and even when they do manage to turn up look at best moderately interested - i am positive that you could recruit a player for a fraction of the cost of emre that could have played more games and even if slightly less gifted than emre could have made more of an impact.

Nah - I reckon they both deserve what they get - what do they expect? that were goin to be nice about other clubs on an nufc forum - i am sure they are very complimentary regarding us on their own sites - bollocks - they should stick to their own and have nowt to say on here-thats what it boils down to isn't it? tribalism - your own kind? not this washed out, diluted pc shite about a 'collective' discussion on everybodys club - bollocks - hate scousers and cockneys and comfortable in the fact that they hate us

its been the boards failt (you don't know cos you weren't there) morts a scrooge and think's he can fart around on deals and nobody else will come in on them (err you don't know cos you weren't there) spurs have mugged him twice now (again, you don't know cos you weren't there on either occasion) So thats bollocks based on bollocks all knowledge (cos you weren't there) honest , read the thread mate , cbh getting into it with you . Ahh so its ok to destroy my post earlier in the thread because i was using theory and conjecture to make a point but your post which is similar (although the spelling, punctuation and grammar look pre-infant school) is above reproach - I have read the thread and was taking part in it to congratulate stevie and your sly dig was uncalled for im dyslexic actually , something that doesnt bother me as much as it seems to you . on one hand i often have arseholes with nothing better to say bringing it up , on the other there isnt a person i know that is better with math than me , you win some you lose some . you wernt there , you werent there !! , my spelling and grammer may look pre school , but you do a great job of looking like a wanker . ffs why did i even let you get me to derail the thread No i think i have made a good job of you looking like a pathetic little tosser who sticks the boot in for no good reason and then gets all upset if someone has a go back
