Just saw this, hope he pulls through. Once ruffled his hair on a flight to London.

Does it have something to do with cowardice?

Happy birthday How come he hasn't got birthday boobs? He has access to the Internet, he's probably seen more porn than we had by his age.

He's got form. He's a horrible little oik

My fucking head. I stuck to the champagne in the office (bar a couple of punishment shots). Then, more champagne, then red wine, then white, then beer, then rum, then it all gets a bit hazy. Thankfully no drama bar some arsehole bankers being obnoxious with one of the girls. Got an uber home because why wouldn't you?

A worrying development.

Was chatting to an Arsenal mate a couple of nights ago and we were talking about Bellamy. He was never a fan of Bellamy, thought him a horrible shitbag and nothing more, until he came to watch Newcastle play, after that 1 game watching him in the flesh his opinion changed 180o. Yes he was an angry little bastard, but he now appreciated his touch, his movement into space, his blinding pace. While he'd been told about Bellamy's workrate he was blown away by it. This lead to him telling a Celtic fan that Bellamy would the best player he'd ever have had at his club after Larsson & Laudrup.

typical they've got sunderland next. Exactly the kind of situation that Sam Allardyce will be able to take advantage of. sunderland are shit, but they'll be set up to frustrate a Chelsea team which now doesn't even have the polarising personality of Jose Mourinho.

Beardsley wasn't the biggest shock, for me. I knew he was really good, but I wasn't aware he was arguably the best footballer I'd see play for us. Bellamy, I thought would be bang average bordering on shite. Perez, I was expecting him to be utter bobbins to be honest.

At least he chose Vader and not Leia -
We've done the shit, let's do the "Actually, he's not bad this lad". I'm torn between Perez and Bellamy to be honest.

Newcastle United v Aston Villa (19/12/15 17:30 ko Sky)

Aye, but I don't think anyone is really expecting miracles, most seem fairly grounded. They are appreciative of the small things that seem to have changed (a more considered approach to the backroom staff, buying players in a higher bracket), but remain wholly distrustful of Ashley & the Thumb. I don't think anyone will get carried away unless we see genuine investment in the squad, investment in the absent youth system and investment in the community. The biggest frustration is that Newcastle are a club that is dead easy to get right. The fanbase, the reputation, the infrastructure, the bones of a squad are all there. Sign players for the weak positions, tear down the abhorrent Sports Direct signage and view silverware as a target rather than a needless distraction and boom, happy full houses happy to spend on merchandise and what not. -

It's going to be amazing if and when Villa go down. I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing the faces that Collymore, Merson and Agbonlahor pull as their beloved club drops into the Championship and oblivion thereafter. Lerner can't be keen to fund an expensive push back into the Premier League, they've no real quality at the club and I haven't heard if any of their young players have made an impact. Their attendances, as a percentage, are the worst in the league and I can't imagine they're going to improve after relegation. -
I think I'm too angry at Owen to be disappointed in him.

Yeah saw that. He's got a comparable goal scoring record to Shola Shola 4.9 League Games per Goal - Striker Ceni 5.7 League Games per Goal - 'Keeper -
I had high hopes for Jon Dahl Tommasson, but that may have been a hangover from the previous season coupled with youthful naivete. I remember telling my mates he'd be class alongside Shearer despite knowing absolutely nothing about him. Recently it'd probably be Siem de Jong. I know he could still have a career here, but I can't see it happening.
