When was Gouffran released?

Didn't Cardiff say that Sammy was really unfit when he got there. Fuck knows what our training was like pre Rafa.

We would still need an MD/Chief exec whether Rafa stays or not. He's a manager so he's not going to that himself. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather it was someone remotely qualified for the job than Penfold but someone's going to have to do it.

Moncur has tarnished his reputation by linking himself to Ashley, as has Beardsley, but they are club legends and personally I think as a club we should do more to keep links with the past. Beardsley seems to be a hopeless coach so I don't want him in the job he currently has but I think it's good to have these people as ambassadors for the club. As long as they have no real responsibilities.

When did they have a use before? I don't expect Charnley (he's negotiating with Rafa after all) or Moncur to be forced out if he were to stay though. Carr will be the patsy whether Rafa stays or not.

Have any of us got anything better to do?

There's still more than enough time for Penfold to tell him all signings have to be suggested by him and accept a wage in line with 1985 levels. Or a much better run club come in with a better offer. I refuse to get upbeat about anything to do with this club until it's set in stone.

They're the tits we've been waiting three season to see again though. Quality over quantity. Now if they can just get Margery sorted.

I think the lad would score a load of goals in the championship if he could stay on the pitch. 9 goals in a shit team for a 21 year old stepping up from the Belgian league isn't a bad return. We just should have been looking for someone with more experience. But if he couldn't keep his head in a game like yesterdays, you have to wonder when he'll ever be able to. We had nothing to play for and pretty much everything had been going our way. Players who are never going to be on the pitch are no good to anyone. If Rafa trusts Tiote to stay on the pitch more than him it tells you a lot.

I've been really impressed and surprised by Townsend. I'd never rated him before he arrived but he's shown a great work ethic and a good amount of skill since he arrived. I don't think he's a guaranteed leaver like the Dutch and Sissoko but I still think chances are he will be gone. And I can't blame him, he did his bit in trying to save us and was let down by others, so I'd wish him well.

Fear not, Ashley and Penfold will fuck it up so he won't be here next season.

I think he could do well but I think his heart was sadly lacking when it was needed. He has played out of position a lot so that hasn't helped him but he's not shown the bottle we required.

You have to be serious about it

Shame they couldn't do it all season. Just showed most of them up for the gutless pricks they are. I certainly didn't expect to enjoy yesterday as much as I did but as each goal went in there was just more annoyance that these players couldn't put in the same performances when it mattered. I'll be more than happy if I've seen the last of three of the scorers.

They certainly addressed our nudity concerns this episode. Oh and they moved the story on a bit. My favourite episode of the season.

What have all these mongs (I'm assuming it's multiple and not just one signing up with different hilarious user names) got against Burton?

Carrick might come if wants to come home. Not totally sure he'd be much use like. The other ones are all pipe dreams or in Hangeland's case finished. We need to see who our manager is before thinking about players. If Rafa stays we are more likely to keep some of the players we might want and be able to attract better quality. If we end up going for someone with a track record of getting teams promoted, then we'll most likely be looking at the same end of the market when it comes to recruitment.

Whether we go or not the problem still remains that there isn't anyone with hundreds of millions spare desperate to buy it from him. Do you think the stadium being half empty will make him give it away? There needs to be a realistic alternative to him and at the moment there isn't. If he was knocking back offers right left and centre, a half empty stadium might make him think fuck it I'll just cut my losses and take what I'm being offered. But there isn't. So all doing anything that would cost him would do would be to make him try and recoup that money by other means. Namely saving on wages (both those of players & management, and other non football related staff who work for the club). That isn't going to imrpove things for anyone, it'll just make the team all the worse and cost normal working people their jobs. I'd love to see him gone and I'd back anyone who came in with an attempt to buy the club from him, but there is no one.

I think that is the thing that makes me dislike dragon tits as a character. She was great at getting her norks out early doors but she's fucked it right off now. I'm now putting all my hope in Margery having to do a walk of shame like Cersei. I know as a storyline it would be a bit repetetive but we all must be desperate to see her with her kit off.

Everyone I've heard talk about it says they love different songs (Burn The Witch, Full Stop & The Numbers being my current favs) which suggests it's a really good album.

I'm pissed off we've been relegated. But we've been in the bottom three all season so I expected it and I'm not a fucking nancy who's going to be crying on the television. These things happen and you just have to get over it. Pressure should be put on Ashley to make sure he attempts to keep Rafa (I don't believe he will stay but the effort has to be made) or appoints a proper replacement. But unless any of us have a spare £300m in the bank, there's fuck all we can do to force him to leave. This is the difference compared to the days of McKeag. We weren't owned by a billionaire back then so we could hurt the owner financially back then to the point where he was desperate to sell. Ashley will sell when he's good and ready and I've not seen anyone come up with a realistic way to make that happen any sooner.
