Uncut Gems. For a while it just seemed to be Adam Sandler shouting but it got better as it went on and the end was excellent I thought.

Quite enjoyed the first episode of Perry Mason. I dread to think what my mother thought about the sex scenes and all the effing and jeffing mind.

I can only imagine he's doing it on purpose now. He's managed to take an action that every other journalist seems to be either completely indifferent about, or see's it as a positive and turned it into a massive negative. It's absolutely impossible to take his opinion on anything seriously now.

I've been a bit worried from the start that he was just another Lualua but he seems to be having much more influence on games as the season has gone on. His decision making seems to have improved too (a surprising positive for our coaching staff there?). I thought he was by far the best player on the pitch on Sunday. I'm looking for him and Almiron to really use their pace and go at players for the rest of the season. I think defenders will really struggle against that after the long lay off.

He'd have a hell of a lot more credibility if he just said, It's Newcastle United so some massive fuck up will probably happen to stop it going through. I mean I'm still at that stage despite all logic saying that there's surely no way the Premier League are going to want to face up to the legal batter with SA if they stop this. Trying to come up with a reason including massive leaps and non existent contract law knowledge make him look ridiculous.

I assumed it was just Lee Ryder's lack of brain cells when I first read his £350m tweet. I was quite surprised to see Sky go with the same amount. You would have to be seriously backwards to pay more at this stage surely.

It's actually ridiculous what the premier league bloke has been saying that there is no timescale on it. How can they justify that? This is clearly effecting the fans with the refunds issue, it's effecting players in that contracts are running out and it will be effecting the staff with them not knowing who they will be working for or if they will have a job. Not that I care but it's also effecting Ashley too as he no doubt has plans for the money for the sale. Surely they can't be allowed to just drag this on and on with the hope that it will just go away.

This all shows the so called experts up for what they are. The Saudi's are posting press releases saying they've won, some are saying that it says they've the kingdom is responsible for the piracy and others saying it just says they didn't do enough to stop it. I've absolutely no doubt that the Qatari's via Bein will soon be releasing a statement saying the report proves everything they have been saying and there's no way the Saudi's can be allowed to buy us.

A Portsmouth vs Fleetwood playoff final would be just the job now. Their tiny brains would explode trying to work out who they want to go up least.

This all seemed completely obvious from the very first time Beoutq was mentioned. It's surely such a no brainer that your average readytogo poster could work out that the premier league just need to tell the Saudi's they have to get it shut down. They then just have to tell the league with a wink that they have absolutely no part in it, but they will do everything they can to stop it. They can also sweeten it by telling them they'll be more than happy to compete (blow out of the water) with Bein's next bid for rights. What I don't see however, is how the premier league can hope to have any influence in the issues between Saudi Arabi and Qatar. It's an issue much bigger than football and if as part of it, the Saudi's don't allow a foreign television company to broadcast in their country, surely they are perfectly entitled to that. Although the Saudi's may see it in their best interests if it allows matches involving the team they are buying to be shown legally in the country.

Yeah that's definitely an exciting prospect of the potential takeover. It seems obvious to me that the Reuben's are in on this in connection with their existing land owned in the city.

Aye he's just came into it in the forth episode that I watched last night. My lass was a bit taken aback by him as she only recognised him as 'that bloke from Mum'.

Finally started watching Ozark and really liked the first couple of episodes. Just baffled that Peter Mullan's name has come up in the titles of both and I can't work out who he is in it. Watched Defending Jacob recently and that's canny. Captain America playing an ADA who's son is charged with the murder of classmate. JK Simmons is in it too which is a plus.

There does seem to finally be a genuine desire to sell so while a few months ago I thought if this doesn't go through we will be completely fucked, I now don't feel that. But the dream of being a force in football will be gone. This is the last chance to get in amongst the top teams imo. Unless there is a complete turnaround in football finance (I can certainly see that happening one day but not soon) mega rich owners like the Saudi's are the only chance of a seat at the big boys table.

Even Craig Hope and Luke Edwards are saying on Twitter that they still expect the deal to go through (I think even the Guardian reporter who wrote the story is pretty much saying the same thing). I'm still far from confident it will happen (I don't see how this delay can be good news whatever way you look at it) but the Guardian article definitely isn't the bombshell they were making it out to be.

Typically another reporter misses the point. Mind while I think the lass of that murdered reporter has no business telling our supporters what we should or shouldn't do (I doubt she had any knowledge of us at all before someone went to her to get her involved) anyone who had a go at her for not being his real fiance wants their head looking at. Although you could say anyone using twitter to try and discuss anything like this deserves anything they get.

Jimbo's telly is the only source I'm prepared to accept as confirmation this is done.

"It's scary how none of us knew what was coming after it". Scary how many of us with a passing interest in them could see what was happening but none of them thick cunts could.

You probably knew the guy we were buying them off then I can't remember his name but I think this was Christmas 99 because I'm sure we got some more from him to take to Ibiza for the millennium new year. The all seemed like lovely blokes.

I got a lift home one Christmas eve off Roache when we'd been buying cowies off his mate in the Wolsey in Walker.

I'm hoping the season doesn't finish because I'm not at all convinced that we're safe. Our form before the break was pony and without the home games with the crowd behind the team I'd be hard pushed to see us picking up many points. Luke Edwards point about Bruce having us in a position of apparent safety so that the potential buyers were still interested is fair enough. But he misses the point that we have only got there through luck. Our performances this season have been by in large dreadful and the stats back this up. We are one of the worst in the league in all of the attacking stats and if I remember rightly, our defensive stats, other that Dubravka are far from great too. He will point to the only stat of any importance being the points on the board and the position we're in, but luck and effort (I don't think that even the most 'rabid critics' would deny he has got the players working) wont keep you getting points and show that you're worthy of the job. His claim that Bruce has won over all but his most rabid critics is either completely wrong or suggesting that the majority of Newcastle fans are rabid. He says his wife and her family are all fans and he has lots of friends who are too. If all of these people are telling him that Bruce has won them over then they must come from a completely different part of Newcastle to me. Because I am yet to meet or speak to a single fan who thinks Bruce has done a good job let alone that be the majority viewpoint. And I know people who have connections to Bruce's family who still don't want him in the job. The only assumptions you can get to on this is that he has a relationship with Bruce that he wants to enhance or keep, or that he wants to wind up Newcastle fans for click bait.

I'm sure Owen could still knock a few in past a twelve year old.
