The Dark Knight. Very good and very overrated at the same time. It's not life changing or the best film ever made or anything like that, it's probably the best Batman or comic book film ever made but there's plenty of films that are superior to it. Oh and Ledger is good in it but had he not died before it's release there wouldn't be all of this hype about him either.

Fair enough it doesn't cater to your tastye. But my point was that the people who would benefit most from switching to freeview would be the people entertained by; Pop Idol, American Idol, Fat Club, I'm a Celeb, Coronation Street, Eastenders, Ant n Dec's latest offering, etc. Aye I could see my mam and dad doing that if it wasn't for my dad watching the football (and WWE and fishing for some reason).

Excellent film, the bit where the guy kills himself is amazing. Finally got round to watching the last few episodes of the Soprano's. Brilliant.

The brother in law had frewview and I honestly don't know how anyone could stand it. There is fuck all on any of the channels you get on there except film 4 and E4. I admit there is a lot of shite on sky and with that number of channels you will always end up with loads of repeats but you can nearly always find something good to watch (always if you have sky +) whereas I would struggle to find any enterainment on freeview.

Currently number 1 on the IMDB top 250. I know it's early days and it will drop down after more people vote but after nearly 50000 votes to be sitting with a 9.7 average looks pretty promising. Johnathan Ross was luke warm to it at best like. Although in the same breath he was praising the shite Spiderman 3 so that's not necesarily a bad thing!

Rambo completely lacking in plot but reasonable fun in a mindless blowing peoples heads off way.

Jack Nicholson double bill of Five Easy Pieces (well acted but I found the story totally unengaging, altough the bit with the two dykes (assumption) in the back of the car was pretty funny) and Chinatown (pretty much pisses on nearly every other film ever made).

We could so do with a player of his class back now.

He looks so bad now it's unreal. To get anything for him would be an achievement.

The comments on his wage are fair enough but we have precious little quality in the team to begin with. To lose him and replace him of players of Gutheries standard and wage would cement our position as poxy little club that has no prospects of ever winning anything again. At least then we would be saved from the likes of Torres coming on here because no other teams fans would give a fuck about us any more.

I'm sure he'd love to go to Arsenal but I'm far from sure that they would have any interest at all in him. He has some ability but not as much as he thinks and he shows no consistency at all. If he goes he goes I wouldn't miss the whinging twat.

Yes we need more of a squad but to my mind the best way of doing this would be to buy some first team players and then let last seasons first team fill out the squad. Our midfield was poor last season and buying more of a similar or worse standard doesn't help matters. I hope I'm wrong and the lad turns into a quality player but this doesn't look like a signing that's going to get us back to the show to me.

The Incredible Hulk. Decent comic book stuff but a bit disapointing considering the talent on display. I honestly can't remember the first one so I don't know how it compares with that but I didn't think it was as good as Iron Man and definitelty gets no where near the best X Men and Batman films. The Taking Of Pelham 123. I've fancied watching this for years but somehow never got round to getting before. Which is a shame because it's a classic 70's film with brillian performances from Robert Shaw, Walter Mathau and Martin Balsam. And you get Frank Costanza for good measure!

The Happening. Not anywhere near as bad as made out but way short of Shyamalan's best work. Whalberg is seriously miscast.

Was apparently very important when he was here last time so it would be good to see him back.

They have at least one (two I think) places in Jarrow/Hebburn. I interviewed for a job there in the summer. Glad they knocked me back now.
