The supposed issues that were going to happen after the new premier league/internet provider agreement the other week don't seem to have materialised at all. I've had no problems at all. Like adios I'm on a paid service now though. I got sick of searching a load of apps for the decent stream and then it buffering every five seconds.

Yeah I've seen you get called similar on the mackems message board.

Well if you were less concerned with confusing people with unnecessarily obscure language you might have said what you meant

5 games is definitely not the minimum like. If Huddersfield lose their next three and we win our next two, they can't catch us. Theoretically we could be up by Good Friday. I fancy Reading for the play offs at the moment. They seem to hitting some form where Huddersfield and Leeds are stumbling a bit. But I would look at who has form in the last two or three games of the season before deciding.

They actually played alright last night and we certainly the better team in the first half. But they never looked like scoring and Borini had the least effective game I've seen a premier league player have since Riviere. If Hull and Swansea were to win tonight (Swansea have Spurs so it's unlikely) they will be all but guaranteed relegation.

Run The Jewels has been by far my favourite album of the year so far.

Judging by their weakness and our strengths we should be playing Atsu instead of Gouffran for this one. Shame Yedlin isn't fit. I'm in agreement with Fish, another ground out 2-0.

I'd go 6.7 on this with the extra mark being for the 3D which was some of the best I've seen outside the likes of Avatar and Gravity. -
Went to see them last night. Did most of things you'd expect them to do from the podcast. We went to the second showing which seemed to lead to them having had a few drinks before they came on which only added to their charm (particularly Bob's).

Can't stand this pathetic excuse for a football club. I can't stand teams that play in empty rugby grounds. Much prefer it when a small club plays in a small ground that it actually can fill. Think we'll put at least 3 past them.

Free Fire. I've been disappointed in Ben Wheatley's last two films after loving Kill List and Sightseers but this was right back to form for me. The cast were all excellent but I thought Sharlto Copely, Armie Hammer and Sam Riley were particularly good getting most of the best lines. -

I once made a save like that playing 7 a side at Gosforth. -
I tried a couple of episodes of that but found the main character too up his own arse and so rewatching the wire instead.

I thought it was ok and couldn't really work out why I didn't enjoy it more. Probably because, like you say, it was a bit by the numbers and there was nothing surprising or new in it. I did like the ending though. -
Watched it last night. It's a really interesting story although I'm not totally convinced it's true.
-
Well of course there's nothing we can do about their results. But as long as it's tight no one is going to plan a parade are they?
-
The concern is that we haven't really shaken off anyone down to Reading in 5th. I agree people should be happy that we're top of the league and there is a daft amount bed wetting but when it's tight people are going to be worried. This is Newcastle United we're talking about, an implosion is never very far away and that makes people a lot more nervous than they should be.
-
Pretty much agree with all of this.
-
The point you make about points needed etc actually explains why people are concerned. If only once in ten seasons has the PPG bettered this season then it shows how tight it is this season. And this season the 4th placed team has the same as the 3rd in then and Reading only have 2 points less. It's perfectly understandable for people to be concerned when it's so tight. A couple of bad results could easily see us desperately hanging on to 2nd place. Personally I'm confident we'll get the job done and I do agree that some people are going overboard but it's easy to see why there is a concern.

I loved the last Inside Number 9 last night. Thought it was the one episode this season that best married the humour and darkness of all the rest.

Finished watching this today and it's really good. The ending, much like Making A Murderer, did make me wonder how much of the actual evidence is shown and whether the film maker did focus on particular elements for one side.
