People like me are slagging him off because he is hardly producing anything useful himself. Saying he would make a big difference in this game is highly hypothetical.

from .com: 2007 Intertoto info UEFA have confirmed that the revised Intertoto Cup competition format introduced this year will be used in 2007, meaning that there's no guaranteed place for the current holders of the trophy (Newcastle). Have the "winners" ever had the right?

Wankfest on N-O in the making...
-
Well, we were used to his "normal" game when he was totally injury free...

For me it's fraud and spoiling the game. But the punishment for an horrendous tackle is a red card and it's down to the officials to get it right. If diving is noticed at all, it will only result in a booking with the player probably thinking "well, I'll get the penalty next time then". I am really for a harsh stance on it as games on the continent often become unwatchable.

Someone paid for him? Not sure tbh, probably did Paderborn pay Wilhelmshaven to take him. and for JJ if he is reading this - Fumaca is probably forming a dream midfield with Andy Mayer.
-
Aka Fumaca didn't manage to get a game for Paderborn this season and was sold on to Wilhelmshaven. Is this how the spamming works?

On a good day, we can win against any of the teams left, on a normal day...

I don't get it......as a trainee, how do you sit as a judge? I just imagine Wolfy sat there in his high chair and rattle. Our system is totally different to the English. Between the first and second state exams you do various stages for a couple of months each. At civil law court you are associated to a senior judge and are mostly writing decisions, but normally at least once also sitting as a judge under the guidance of a senior judge. And lumberjack was cool. I did it during school holidays when I was 16-18. I am fully awary that it's difficult to visualize (apart from the Monty Python associations of course)... I find it very easy to visualise actually....you're like some sort of Mr Magoo with an axe and you go round chopping the wrong trees down onto cars etc. They didn't let me chop trees. I've planted a couple of thousands though...

Sorry, forgot about it I haven't taken a photo, but found an image via google. http://www.eijlander.nl/imagescript.php?im...pg&size=190 The thing is called slide adapter and here is a description how it works: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/generic...ocname=bps03306

His set pieces were ok, in the first 30 mins he also showed a lot of commitment. Afterwards he was as poor as most other players on the pitch.

Maybe we can arrange some behind close door friendlies between Liverpool and Southampton to have a look at our targets...
-
I think it's not too bad to make our interest openly known. There is hardly any chance to scout him in secret anyway. So jumping the queue is probably a good idea and forcing as well Bale as other interested clubs into a decision.

Doesn't this fellah even know who you are playing tickets for the Belgium game. ffs Not a proper fan tbh, he should better have tried it with an old ticket from the match against Antwerp...
-
Me too, again. Probably with the difference that I would have to start smoking first...

In that case: "top bombing"!

Ditto Keegan. Am not getting drawn into the better manager debate but Robson was 'classier' than Keegan imo. In terms of standing in the game as a manager and handling himself in the media I met Keegan once at his prime (as manager). He was inspirational. Never met Robson but he strikes me as being like a friendly Grandad. In a way though they are both highly lovable losers ultimately. Robson never quite achieved football's greatest prizes either as a player or manager. Keegan suceeded as a player but was pipped at the post as a manager which seemed to destroy him. It's a shame for both of them. Where is J69 when you need him...

Only that it is coming from the people who are good at making up crap stories (there were another couple of daft ones yesterday). I think Wenger is spot on in giving players in a certain age only one year contracts. As long as they are happy and playing well they will always earn themselves an extension.

If you could take a photo of it, it would be much apprecaited mate. Also if you could find out where this device you speak of was purchased from and what scanners it will fit if at all possible. I have a HP PSC 1210 all in one jobbie which they dont make a slide adaptor apparently for but I would be interested to know if the one you have at work is universal Cheers The scanner is a HP, too. The unit is that simple that I think it will work with every scanner. Don't have a camera in my office at the moment, but will do it in the next days.
-
At work we have a simple little thing that does the trick. It's a small plastic unit with a mirror inside reflecting the light from the scanner back on the slide so that the photo can get scanned at the same moment. It's very simple and the quality might not be as good as with a professional slide scanner, but it works. Though, with a couple of hundred/thousands slides, you might need a lot spare time as you always can do one slide. I don't this thing does cost more than a few quid. I might make a photo of it.
