1. Really? That's logical wizardry! Faye just doesn't have the tools to compete at the level we're trying to reach. 21408 The "Championship"?
2. Owen arrives at Newcastle airport. Michael Owen: "Hallo Mr. Shepherd, Hallo Mr. Souness. I just wanted to tell you personally that I am not going to join Newcastle. I'll rather stay at Real to play Championsleague. So where is my taxi to Liverpool?" Walks out of the front door, jumps into a waiting taxi and is off...
3. I don't think managers do get put off by the sackings of predecessors. They all know how the business works. You don't get the results and you are out. If Newcastle started sacking manager's for not changing their underpants it might become a problem. But sacking a manager for being unsuccessful is normal. Manager's are only scared off if they don't think they can handle the task. Hitzfeld turned down the Kiev offer where he was only interested in a role as director of football. But he didn't rule out a managing job and said recently that he has loads of offers and is just waiting for the right one. I do think the Newcastle offer would be very attractive to him as it would be similar to the Dortmund one. I just hope that Fat Fred isn't just sitting on his arse and at least approaching managers via third parties. If one of the big ones signals interest that Fat Fred deserves to get stuffed to death with pies for not sacking the incompetent imbecile.
4. So that' was why he was sent to the Bayern team doc who is an expert in hamstring injuries? I said before the game that playing both would be a big risk. Maybe throwing in one of them could be excused, but both was stupid with wasting two subs in the first half as well. The amount of hamstring injuries at Newcastle isn't giving our physios fitness coaches a good reference anyway...
5. Last year the manager was sacked after four games. Two of those games should have been won (Boro were we were robbed and Norwich at home), against Spurs we should have at least got one point. Villa away was crap. After these performances Dougie Hall said that with SBR in charge we would definitely got relegated. Pardon, but what does creating as many goal chances in four games as normally in one half should lead to then... The standard of football from Newcastle so far has been far from mediocre. It was crap, pure and simple crap.
6. I think he was playing far too deep, but shouldn't be judged on this single performance after just spending two days with his team mates. But there is a lot room for improvement...
7. "Pogo, If you love the toon, Pogo, if you love the toon..." 20347 Shoes off, if you love the toon?* * I apologise to everybody who feels offended.
8. I am perfect. I am arrogant.
9. and hopefully have a new manager...
10. Invading Poland (though I still need a bit practise).
11. We are shite, but I don't see it. La, la, la....
12. Hopefully he won't get injured again because of the pressure to play him. He hardly has got match fitness yet and his injury record is a bit dodgy...
13. Hey, why are Faye, Babayaro and Moore missing on the photo...
14. I was so confident about the deal that I bought the CD (for 1 Euro) via ebay on Monday which hopefully has been delivered in meantime.
15. Well, as I said at the start of the week the deal wasn't dead at all. I was pretty sure that it would go through. The transfer even cheered me up a bit and be it just because I don't get Bluestar's "Hot dog. Jumping frog. Albert Luque" out of my head...
16. As I said a couple of days ago. I don't want us to lose but have a kind of indifferent feeling to winning and so would see the positive side of a loss. Having said that, after the game against Bolton I was devastated and the thought of Souness days being numbered didn't cheer me up in the slightest. Winning a game against ManUre is always a good feeling even if it unfortunately will prolong the stay of the tosser in charge. I'll also lose a bet because before the season started I said that ManUre will be the last game of Souness as Newcastle manager.
17. The stadium extension was financed via a securisiation deal with Stephen Schechter. His consortium lend the money that Newcastle has to pay back which is securised by the sale of season tickets.

My way

albeit a bit bumby... And now, the end is near; And so I face the final curtain. My friend, I’ll say it clear, I’ll rest my case, of which I’m certain. I’ve had a team that’s crap. I’ve challenged each and ev’ry player; And more, much more than this, I did it my way. Fights, I’ve had a few; But then again, I am a bully. I did what I used to do And saw it through without exemption. I got rid of all the flair, And then bought Amdy Faye But more, much more than this, I did it my way. Yes, there were games, which you all saw with no tactics and just long balls. But through it all, there was no doubt, I f*cked it up and I was out. I did all wrong and nothing right; But did it my way. I was hated, right from the start,. I’ve had my fill; my share of losing. And now, as goals subside, I find it all so amusing. To think I did all that; And may I say – in a proper way, No, oh no not me, I did it my way. For what is a team, that cannot win? having a squad that is paper thin. You do the right things and make sure; not to sign bloody Ozzie Moore! The record showsI lost the plot- And did it my way!
19. Robert was shite, sorry but apart from free kicks he was a sack of shit. Open play and corners were woeful and never tracked back causing the left full back all kinds of problems. 18023 And he never got the best out of the finest striker of a generation. Oh no, he was too busy being castigated for his shite defensive qualities. Shearers nothintg without Robert - fact. 18301 Robert the finest striker of a generation? Now you really are having a laugh. 18465 i think he meant Shearer was 18467 Well then how about him using punctuated English! 18480 "And he [subject, i.e. Robert] never got the best out of the finest striker of a generation [object, i.e. Shearer]." Hmm, makes absolutely sense to me...
20. Actually what the fat controller is saying is nothing else than the obvious. Newcastle need a quick answer and can't wait for Owen waiting for a Scouse offer. Newcastle must know quickly about the decision so that they can concentrate on plan B (presuming there is such a plan ...
21. It isn't every player has a (mandatory IIRC) in his contract. Normally they set a ridiculous fee that is never going to get matched.
22. Do you even bother reading other postings?
23. So we are not in the bottom three because we are crap at football, too? Or have a crap manager? One-and-a-half serious attempts on goal in three matches suggests so.
24. It was a desperate appointment. No one great wanted the bloody job. Why? BECAUSE IT WAS THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING SEASON!! Get behind Souness, and if he doesn't do the biz, sack him at the END of the season. Simple. 18262 Even if it means relegation? 18264 We won't get relegated. Honestly. 18280 Yes, all will change if people would just clap their hands... * clap * * clap * * clap *
25. They took it off again. Probably someone told them that riazor.org isn't the official website.
