The timing of the announcement of the charges might have been surprising but the investigations have been ongoing for several years. There was always a likelihood that the accusations will be brought on the table. The scrutinising of new commercial deals was probably a major topic when the “big” clubs altered the so called ffp regulations to make sure that we can’t suddenly create new income to threaten the existing order. -

The one shown on bbc4 (?) the other day? I watched parts of it and it is worth watching. They basically only show old clips without unnecessary commentary. The pictures and the content speak for themselves.
