Would love to see WBA finish above the scousers like.

It's been a long long time since I've seen us play so well, so positively. It's the best side we have had for a long time and there is a great opportunity to strengthen it further in the summer.

I dunno. I think 8 points from the next 4 games is possible and despite Spurs poor run of form I cant see them getting beat again. That said, when you look at the Spurs games they look easy initially. But if Villa get sucked into things, which they nearly are. they they will start fighting and Spurs have to go there. Going to Bolton wont be easy for them either given where Bolton are. I do think we'll finish above Chelsea. Im hoping that Barca put them out on Tuesday though that will likely make them fight against us all the harder. Keeps things interesting anyway!

How much compensation would Ashley demand from the FA?
JawD replied to trophyshy's topic in Newcastle Forum
I actually dont think Pardew would go. -
Aye. Here as well. Like most I was slating the actions of the club. It's hard not to some around some when you're sitting in 4th. Nice to be wrong sometimes.

TBf, if you're Gay fine, be gay. But if you are not gay, then stop mincing and pull your fucking pants up properly Sure we had a thread about this recently..

That gay rights means forcing 6-year-olds to be transvestites, basically. not quite, I asked if people think it would encourage them to show their feminine side and have a more balanced outlook later in life, having watched programmes like the tellytubbies carrying handbags ? So what do people think ? Wor lass has my bairns playing with cooking things and playing "pretend" etc. I fun fight with them and play football. She cuddles them when they fall, I tell them to get back up, say "ow" and carry on. Basically they get the soft side from her and I try and balance it my toughening them up. Seems fine to me. That said, my eldest hates pink "eeeww thats for girls!".

Despite the FACT, with one exception, we always have 10 qualifications in 15 years. Lets see if your man gets close, once in 5 years so far... Have you looked at the stadium roof etc yet ? LM Why do you jump back to the same old when a fair point is made? You have stated that we should not drop down a position just because we get in to europe. I had a brief look and it Seems : Play in Champion League: Worse Position [1] Better Pos [1] Play in UEFA: Worst League Pos next season [4] Same [1] Better [1] Play in Intertoto only: Improved League Pos [2] So, if we started the season early (intertoto) but didnt continue in Europe, it improved our position both times. The Champions League was 50/50. UEFA Cup mostly left us in a worse position, usually a fair bit.

I'm not sure how Tatchell would know. I don't think your being gay makes you an expert on being gay, any more than being straight makes you an expert on being straight. Either way, being gay doesn't make you an expert on genetics. I agree with JawD though, in an ideal world most people want their kids to be straight. The main reasons for that would be because you wouldn't want them to go through all the inevitable hassle and confusion etc., etc. Life's hard enough anyway, especially when you're going through puberty. That doesn't mean you wouldn't love a bairn of yours if they turned out gay of course. If you don't support them through that you're not a very good parent imo. Exactly. Of course Id support my kids if either was gay. But as a parent I kind of have this (is it selfish?) vision of them getting a good education, good career, married and a couple of kids. Once that is in place I reckon I could die happy. Life isnt that straight forward though.

I loved FF7, the only one I really got in to...

My eldest is 4 and I'll tackle it when he brings it up. He brought up the skin colour question last week for the first time. My answer was simply "people have different colour hair and eyes and so also skin. It is linked to the colour of their parents". I think that was enough and he seemed happy. I'll not think about the other stuff until he's older. I know everything is acceptable these days, but you still want your kid to be straight in an ideal world.

The club have already rightly said that they want a small squad but with more quality. It's not that we dont have the players, its just that you cant replace likes of Ba with Best/Lovenkrands or Tiote with Smith and so on. Id say any player that comes in replaces someone on the fringes or reserve and is good enough for the first team. With that in mind I'd get rid of the following : Lovenkrands Smith - Contract expires anyway so he is as good as gone Best Ranger Xisco - Contract until 2013 so likely to be retained until then and leave for nowt I would like to keep Guthrie, Shola, Harper etc. I found bringing in Elliot and odd one unless someone was on their way out. Forster is contracted until 2014 so seems the obvious choice to go. Or Harper who is next season. Id keep Williamson as a reserve. I'd bring in: 1 x Centre Half - Colo and Taylor after that we have significant drop off in quality 1 x Full back - Still no real LB and Simpson needs someone to push him. Santon needs more time imo. 1 x Forward - If we let those above go, that gives us Ba, Cisse and Shola. We need at least one more quality forward esp with the ACN. That would reduce the squad by 2 not including any kids on their way out (a few are at the end of their contract but we should be looking for new kids on top of the above to replace) If we want to increase cover due to Europe then I think on top of the above we could even bring in two of each position above. This assuming we retain Gosling and Guthrie who back up Tiote and Cabaye.

Cabin in the woods. Story is poor, no tension, but a classic b movie style romp. Funny in parts and decent effects without going ott on gore. It's basically modern Evil Dead with an extra 30 mins

Blackfriars is decent for a more traditional type of place
