Im very grateful for what he done, or had the balls and vision to do, but a statue? no. Joe Harvey is one that it seems odd we have no recognition of. What Sir Bob done for the place you could draw parallels to what KK done. I never have a bad word to say against KK but the club turned in to something he didnt like. SBR I dont think would ever have left. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth how the whole thing was handled. anyway, to be the statue isnt just about what he done for the club while here, its what he done for here, football as a whole and the region outside of football. I think this summer we will sell a big player. Lets say £20M. I think we wont spend all of the money we get from that and people will be up in arms. but then we will have kept some back and will spend it in the Jan window.* *This may change if we get in to the CL. I think that will at least allow us to hold on to what we have and still bring in 2-3 players, only getting rid of the fringe or lower ones.

Theres a thread for this sort of thing What you said is exactly what I put in the film thread. I found it like Evil Dead with an extra 45mins. They obviously had a laugh making it and some bits were funny and it was very B-movie like. So long as you're not expecting a huge hit and go in with an open mind, its very enjoyable. I dont think the players necessarily lacked respect for the club, but I do think we had a bunch of players who lacked self discipline. I dont know the answer, but Im thinking of Bellamy, Dyer & Bramble in particular. You'll know yourself the bother they would get in to when pissed on the quayside. Nobby used to go out a lot but never had any bother. Whether that effected us on the pitch? I dont think so. There must have been issues behind closed doors though as when SBR was replaced with Souness, FS commented about the discipline side of things.

This was my first season without. Its killed me like. I didnt give up because of MA, but the actions of the club did make it easier. I left to spent more time with the kids so Im not about to give that up. Hopefully one of them will want to go when they are older so I can get a ticket with one or both. will be a few years for that like. This said, I went to the Man U away game, prob going to Everton as well. Also a load of us in a box at SJP for the Man city game so Ill get to that one. So no, I'll not renew but still get to the odd game.
