We won. Let the fightback begin! Oh...right..

Nah, he's right, we should take it seriously. This is from my FB. I'm on the far left, with my dad Papiss Cisse and my 8 brothers and two sisters.

Decent hotels near Wembley , start of march ?

Aye, good luck lads. -
You're right, I remember watching Jackie Milburn. He used to come on the pitch smoking a pipe in nothing but a pair of long johns. When he scored, he'd waft out his todger (which he'd decorated in a Miners Union flag) and flip it round and round until he passed out. We'd then give him a standing ovation as he was stretchered off. Here man you tit, I was born 30 years after he last played for Nufc. Even my faffa never got to see him play. Jesus fucking wept.

Well done Martin, I've got to admire your balls. Not literally. As for Gemmill...he'll be back.

My very first job was doing stats for the Local Authority. Some of the bullshit they made me churn out.

There are lots of offshoots of food banks having to be set up in the last couple of years due to demand, just because a large and official one has this rule doesn't mean that there are now lots of other community foodbanks running who have had to abandon that rule due to demand. Dave said himself, without a hint of irony, that all the new Community foodbanks that were springing up were a great example of the 'The Big Society'. I'm not trying to dramatise anything, I'm just telling you what I know and see through my work. Hey, I see lots of people taking the piss out of the system and taking food they don't need, neglecting kids etc. The majority though are looking for work and do really need food, and despite the Daily Fail's generalisations of their perceived underlcass, not everyone on benefits smokes tabs, goes to the local, and takes drugs. I think it's great that unemployment is down as more and more people are signed up for the unpaid Work Programme, to Zero hour contracts, to Agencies who take the piss. The problem with having the Tories in for those on the breadline is that they only get voted in to Parliament in affluent areas. So it's a bit of I'm Alright Jack. Some of them might have a little council estate of oiks somewhere in the constituency but luckily for them they don't bother with politics and they don't ever have to go there so it's ok. This is not Pro-Labour either, I've criticised them lots on here and the thought of Ed Balls as Chancellor puts a shudder down my spine (useless twat) but at least they usually tend to represent poorer constituencies so can't avoid having these issues thrown in their faces therefore having to do something about it, even if a lot of them don't really care either.

Not true about needing a voucher and three goes at the Food Bank. That may have been the case at some point, before the Tories got in, but it certainly isn't now. Also there are churches in and around the city, certainly in the East End, who are feeding kids their tea every night as they're so hungry.

I know you aren't really considering it, but Marrakesh is by the far the worst place I have ever been to. Smelly shit hole full of people trying to mug you or fleece you. Like a warmer, sandier version of Sunderland.

I know ou've got them now, but I would also recommend Start Fitness and to have the test as well. Got to say, I'm never really a fan of sales assistants as they tend to billy bullshit you but the kid who helped me get my first pair a few years back in there was excellent. Knew his stuff, didn't patronise or try to get me to buy expensive shite.

It's simple really, because we now have a range of attacking and creative players Tiote is able to go back to doing what he is superb at. Covering, chasing, winning the ball, and doing the donkey work. When he struggled for form was when Cabaye and the likes were out. I remember in the middle of that him having the ball centre and people were screaming at him to play some sort of through ball when it's never been his job and he's never actually been any good at it. It's also helped Cabaye, it must give you the confidence to try stuff knowing you have that workaholic beast behind you to mop up. Player of the season by a country mile for me.

Exactly. This is my main gripe with this lot. I totally accept that we needed to cut and also that the welfare system needed a reform, but the complete could't give a fuckness from this government has beggared believe. There are some people taking the piss out of the benefit system, but there are tonnes more with genuine needs. The stance seems to be that everyone is taking the piss and cheating the system therefore should be treated with distain and mistrust. Although I would expect nothing less from an out of touch bunch of toffs.

Listened to PM questions yesterday and lots of Tories got up to give the PM and Chancellor a big back slap for how well their areas are doing. Those great northern towns of Sutton, Shrewsbury, and Milton Keynes.

A grafter but no end product. Never convinced by him to be honest. Seemed like a nice bloke, but that means nowt. Footballers can be right bastards in their private life for all I care, as long as they're decent. I personally won't miss him, but definitely wish him all the best as you can't deny his commitment to the cause and the club when we were in the shit.

So angry I don't really know where to start. On the Man City fans whining about Yanga's tackle on Nasri; they're only going ott on it as it massively deflects from the fucking disgrace of a decision first half.

The Secret Diary of Lee Ryder (aged 44 and a half)

In general, the Chronicle is a shit paper isn't it really? The sport section is just full of boring soundbites and fan arse licking whilst the front of it is feature stories from people claiming they've been wronged when really they should have been hit with a shovel at birth. They also seem to be obsessed with Joe Mcelderry for some unknown reason. Don't get me started on some of the cringeworthy Geordie Mafia shite they constantly run either, like 'Why I love the Toon.' Thing is, even if you don't buy it, you can't really ignore it as there is always one laying around somewhere.. -
It's Keane cupping Party with Martys that has got me freaked.

Wasn't there a story going round that we nearly signed Peter Schmeichel from Brondby?
-
We were saying at the weekend, it's like someone has finally taught him how to turn with the ball. Like it's taken him till the age of 32 but he's suddenly gone 'ah..I see.'
-
To be fair to Gerrard he's doing sterling work for my Fantasy Football team.
-
He's part of the furniture now. When he retires they'll employ him in some form or other. There's always bogs that need cleaning.
-
Huddlestone might be able to mark the less than mobile wrong side of 30-odd Steven Gerrard out of a game but l'd be slightly worried when actually facing someone world class. Which, to be honest, is pretty likely during a World Cup.
-
Still getting grief when he's playing well, so I've decided to say fuck it and go ott in praising him. Therefore, the kid is class, he'll be a credit to the club when he graces the world stage next summer, etc etc
