I've defended Shola in the past only on the basis that I think the stick he gets it way ott. That doesn't mean I don't agree he's shite though. But there's a massive difference between being shite and not trying. He's a carthorse who's never had pace, which some people thinks makes him lazy which is a load of shite really. Wanker in front of me (who personally I hope hasn't renewed for this season because he's a tit) is on Shola's back from the 1st to the 90th minute, EVERYTHING is his fault and it's pathetic frankly. I said right at the end of the season that if this club was serious about being competitive then we had to sell Shola. There's 4,000 doing the ride but split between the 3 distances. You get a timing chip and clock in at 3 different parts where you can rest/eat then get back on the clock. We're planning to take our time like, spot of lunch and a pint and all that.

Should have got yourself in the Northern Cyclone on Satruday..you can chose 33 mile, 66 mile, or 106 mile circular from Kingston Park and back. My father in law persuaded (lied to) me to do the 66 mile one, basically up around Northumberland in a circle. Spoke to someone who did it last year who said there are a couple of leg sapping hills like. Done two 50 milers last two weekends and kind of enjoyed them.

insanely good book Yep, certainly the superb bits outweight the shite bits. The battle scenes early on (as I'm still not that far through when you look at it) are some of the best literature I've read.
