Paul was pulling his punches from the 3rd round on tbf. The first 2 rounds were reasonably competitive, then it was just a sparring match with Tyson stood flat footed whilst Paul did his best not to knock him out
-
Rico Lewis, the right footed right back starting at left back 👌🏼
-
Turns out it all stemmed from a parody post anyway!
-
Lauren Boebert, who got removed from a cinema for getting fingered. is now the education secretary. This is getting beyond parody now
-
Lionesses on Paramount+ is an easy watch

I had to double check this wasn't a parody post Fucking DOGE man. These blokes are treating this entire Presidency like one big meme

The last couple of games have been his best since the season we finished 4th. Hopefully he can kick on this season
-
Tino called up to the England squad to replace TAA. James Trafford called up to replace Ramsdale suggesting Pope is somehow now 5th choice behind a championship GK

I feel a bit like Partridge now

edit - just seen the last bit of his post. Mea culpa, he would still pay British taxes in NI obviously. That's me being stupid and I shouldn't have made the original post without engaging my brain. Genuinely don't have an issue with him not wearing a poppy, but always found it slightly contradictory that he's staunchly republican but chooses to live in England/Wales. On a side note, it's bizarre that such a big part of politics in this country (the troubles) was completely absent from my school curriculum. Literally wasn't even mentioned. I hold my hands up to being naive about a lot of it. I was brought up atheist and feeling far more "North Eastern" than "English"

Just thinking out loud, and probably showing my complete naivety around some of this stuff. I don't have an issue with him not wearing a poppy etc. But is it not contradictory for someone who is publicly and vehemently Republican to live and work in England (or Wales)? Genuine question btw

Immaculate minutes silence at the Celtic game today https://twitter.com/PLZSoccer/status/1855627469803462687

I was watching Salah on MOTD last night thinking he's been consistently class for years now at Liverpool, and won just about every trophy there is to win with them, yet he's never been anywhere near a Balon d'or win? Vincius Salah

Aye, what sort of numpty lets their kid walk into the home end with an away top on
-
I've sat in the home end at Bolton, Sunderland and Wigan iirc. The Sunderland game was where Kieran Richardson scored a screamer. Never again. I think the bloke in that interview nails the bit about the flawed ballot though. The club can get fucked if it thinks I'm paying £37 to chuck my name in a hat when they refuse to say how big the hat is or how many names are in it. (Probably because they know half of the members would then cancel)

100% He's effectively moaning that he only wants to see his kids once a fortnight.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
Kid Dynamite replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
They got criticised for the first one and made sure the same mistake wasn't made twice tbf -
I'm not having this "most incredible and biggest win ever" shite btw. 139million votes cast and less then 5million splitting them.

Number 4 is a key point. A big chunk of the electorate don't want a sensible leader. They want someone outlandish who says stupid stuff that makes for good quotes on social media. That's why Boris was popular. And that's why Farage is growing in popularity. Labour need to get on board and start promoting some of the younger members of the party with a bit of personality. I've got no doubt that Starmer will steady the ship, but whoever shouts loudest at the next election is more likely to win

Well this has ruined my morning!
