I've been thinking maybe this lad works best in a counter attacking side and that our more regular possession based build up doesn't suit him. Fairly sure if you give him a square ball in the middle third of the pitch with an opposition player in close attendance he's not going to beat his man. Put the ball in front of him to run on to and he's going to build up momentum to use his most obvious and greatest asset. Watched this, he can pass, cross and shoot accurately.
