  1. Everyone at the Gtech were rightly calling out the failure to take Burn off and bring Hall on after the first penalty incident and I note that everyone on X and on here did too. During the second pen stramash I noticed with a fair amount of incredulity that Ramsdale was stripped so am presuming Pope got injured in the incident where Igor (?) up ended him after he'd caught the ball rather than just changing the keeper before a penalty kick? Pope let them back in going for that punch, if he'd let the defenders deal with it the ball may not even have got back to Schade for the shot. They didn't do much for their win, they're big fit and physical and pressed us a lot in the first half, we really couldn't get out apart from the odd occasion. Big Nick has been sussed, put two defenders on him and he can't get his natural game going..he's still learning his trade though and certainly not writing the lad off. Am not sure if players returning from injury including Wissa will improve us much. There's too many not playing well; the captain included, he seems to have lost his resistance to the press. Might be temporary. Wissa will as usual under Eddie be eased in. But with Europe in play drilling the squad on the training ground is very tricky in the busiest part of the season. It's becoming a bit of a fucking mess but certainly not irretrievable. We'll see how good a manager Howe is in the time between now and when we play the mackems
  2. Peter Hook & the light...it was amazing the amount of times a man who has been a member of bands with names such as Warsaw, Joy Division and New Order appeared to throw out what would appear to be a Nazi salute during two hours of music but there you go πŸ˜†βœŠπŸ» at least a dozen occasions all of which I singularly failed to capture. I got this spectacularly shite shot instead ☺️ They played the fairly low rent new order album Get Ready then a million Joy Division tracks, Blue Monday & True Faith and finished with Love will tear us apart...not a great vocalist but the old fucker gave it six nowt. Tbh nights like these about the brilliant songs getting played and people properly connecting with them. Well worth seeing tbh.
  3. He was shite at the start of last season. He came into form and was excellent in the two Carabao semi finals v Arsenal, he scored in both. Then he got sent off v Fulham in the FA cup and didn't play worth a fuck fron then onwards
  4. He's thrown his entire life away on this. When he got nicked (he shouldn't have been tbf) he did some interviews saying "THEY took my family from me, THEY took my wife away" ... no they fucking didn't you deranged fucking twat, all that happened because of your extreme behavior...
  5. Rangers 0-2 Roma.... Is he supposed to be Greek? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
  6. It's not on SSN or BBC but there must have been a lot of money put on it this morning...
  7. This is legit. Sky and Paddy Power have removed the bet but at the moment Gary O'Neil is still available at 100/30 to be next Southampton manager....
  8. If they're not a mackem I apologise. But I think they're a mackem. I remember the last time I got something wrong. It was in 1992. It sticks in my mind obviously as it's never happened since
  9. I was travelling round the US in autumn 1994. I found a 3 week old copy of the Observer somewhere in Colorado and found that Bilbao had knocked us out but that it had been the trip to end all trips...
  10. @thebrokendoll were you at this? Some great footage... Part 1 is a bit dull but theres two local lasses singing their tits off towards the end
  11. Here is something of a form guide.. @Gemmill you're banned from commenting on how you expect things to go off the back of this
  12. That's maybe because they're centre backs by trade? Brilliant recruitment tbf to identify them both, a season to bed in and now they're ready...
