Both fair in a way. Biggest thing for me is Pardews inability/unwillingless/lack of bottle to drop either Ba or Cisse. But we haven't got the players to perform in a true 433. Marveux isnt anywhere near strong enough for the prem iyam. Wigan had 10 men CT before you mention it. He is the type of player we need in there, but he needs to be 3 inches taller and a stone heavier. HBA can do it because he's a better player.

Most foreign players who go on to be at least half decent in this league all say much the same thing "for English football I had to be much stronger physically" Cabaye's said it at least twice and you can see Anita getting stronger game on game too. Good call on the formation too, he's sat in there and played his natural game when its been a 3 in the middle.

One thing to add, If we're playing the blame game the players come into it too. Jonas, Tiote, Colo and Samton were fuckin awful the other night. Its not as simple as saying "Pardew should get more out of them" He did last season, he's not doing this season.
