Suggestions that she's been arrested to stop her appearing before the select comittee on Tuesday and in doing so protecting the very people who arrested her, the corrupt bastards. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14178051

Sammy's gonna get ya! I've played against him before and lets just say he was so shite that only Newcastle would try to develop him. Fucking Mag vermin, fucking hate yee. One of the better ones, too. They can't help themselves in the end though. They are an oppressed people, bitter as fuck. Ask any Tyne shipyard worker about them then stand well back from the blast. Still going on at one shipyard mate.....am working beside 3 of them and their (reasonable) attitude to me changed the day the fixtures came out. It's like they wear a "mask" of normality but can't help letting it slip to display the enormous chip on their collective shoulders. Can't remember when the result of the game on the 20th has been so important for me personally, rather than for the supporters in general and obviously the club.

I've typed this verbatum from today's Observer. Their website is fuckin shite. The full article (I've just noticed) appears on the PA website here: http://www.pressassociation.com/component/...from=sport-news Is the language of this not a bit strong for a manager who is at best tolerated by the vast majority of supporters and viewed by some as a weak puppet figure? I don't condone going on to the pitch but it started as a bit of light hearted over exurberance by those not old enough and too drunk to know better. Pardew sounds like some self righteous mackem prick on here rather than the manager of the football club. If you look at the full article even fuckin Llambias stops short of tarring us all with the same brush: not that you'd read that bit in the Observer. Cunts Anyone see or hear of a bit of a ruck near the station with apparently some of Boro's mob?...evening out for more than a couple of the North East's club's?....

Wenger seems to have ruled out a move for a left back to replace Clichy: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...ael-Clichy.html Things could change of course, Wenger may be trying to be cute in a inflated market, but it doesn't seem likely. Maybe if Liverpool get rid of those that are no longer required they'll come in for him. I'm beginning to think he may well see out his contract though..for a player to move you need a buyer and there doesn't appear to be one at the moment. 7 mill for a player in the last year of his contract is (intentionally) a piss take and may well be putting clubs off till next summer, or perhaps till January when a club still in the champions league may come in. Just cant see him signing the new contract, its more than likely a Bosman for him now.

Some misguided souls of my aquaintance, desperate for a bit of black and white action, are going to Utrecht next weekend to watch Joey and the reserves in action.....isn't Utrecht some sort of modernist concrete nightmare with Northern Europe's most violent football hooligans?....hope so anyway

Apparently the ownwers of the winning ticket are a couple are from the Falkirk area....if anyone in particular needs a bit of good fortune, it's probably a couple from the Falkirk area....

When I heard about this last night I was thinking it would be great if this latest accusation turns out to be true as it would go down like a shit sandwich over there. If James Murdoch is proven to have been complicit in all this could he be jailed in the US if it ended up in a guilty verdict at a trial?...is there an offence he could be charged with?..

Brooks has finally had a her fingers prised from the cliff edge, about time too. An FBI investigation that proved they hacked 9-11 victims/their families as mentioned above would destroy what little credibility News Corps had left, especially in the US. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14166162

Howay man, you can't blame the fans. It's not like the situation would be improved if they didn't buy them, is it? I'd suggest it would be the club that needed shooting with shit if any more of our better players are sold. Not that it would bother either Llambias or Ashley...

No but I fancy an Ajax one. Think it's awkward getting tickets due to their holiganism problems though (read something to that effect). Yeh I can imagine it being a bit of a carry on! I want to try Holland or Germany as they both seem to have decent atmopsheres and are supposedly reasonably priced. I think 100% of Newcastle fans who weren't at Feyenoord wish they were tbh! I was there, and went to a friendly in Rotterdam a few years before too. Saw us in Eindhoven,Breda and Heerenveen as well...I agree with Stevie, the Netherlands is a great country, everyone seems to "get" the English in a sort of funny world-weary/ironic kind of way, in a way the French can't or won't in a million fuckin years.

Think the quality of the solo career 'output' got the ball rolling on that one. A bloke at work reckons he's the worlds most rabid meat eater, and all this veggie bollocks is just a front.....he's basically so ravenous for the meat he ate his first wife (poor old Linda was all part of the "cover up") when she started churning out her vomit inducing vegetarian ready meals....he'd started on the second wife but had only got as far as her leg before he was rumbled and she ditched him An instructor at Sandhurst Military Academy apparently thinks that Princess Diana was deliberately bumped off by the Scots Guards Close Observation Platoon, in protest at her stance on landmines

Nick, do you ever sometimes think wether it's worth chewing through the straps every morning? -
Well she fucked them unions alright and thanks to Maggie you've got employment agencies all over the shop making money out of poor cunts just trying to make a living and companies hiring and firing on a whim as its been made so easy for them, (most of these blokes are earning far less then permanent employees). Maggie also privatised the utilities and made a quick and easy buck and encouraged people to buy shares and get mortgages so they'd have have to work no matter what, (hence the poor buggers working for these agencies on little more than the minimum wage because they'll be chucked out their home by the bank if they spend time looking for a proper job). Basically a company can do whatever the fuck they like, I should know, 2 bastard days notice of a change in shift pattern and £260 a month pay cut and a completely lacklustre response from a joke union. We've the best economy in Europe I believe, or we had the best economy in Europe. We've also got the worst working conditions and work the longest hours and if told to eat shit, must sit down and open wide and swallow it all. The lengths this fucker went to nail the Miners was unreal, Policemen made fortunes as she more or less matched every striker with a cunt with a baton and a licence to use it at some picket lines. She had the backing in the media of utter cunts like Kelvin Mckenzie demonising any fucker who had sympathies to the miners or was anti-Thatcher. In the North-East orders for ships never seemed to go to Tyneside as there was no way it could gain any votes for her up here if she or her party did. Unemployment in the North-East was a 'price worth paying', her mate Tebbit told people like my dad to 'get on their bikes' and look for a job, when people affected by closing down their industries complained they were just 'moaning minnies'. She was no friend to the working man nor the North-East. Get in there my son, give the dying face bitch it where it hurts Post of the decade from Walkerville's answer to Wolfie Smith Seriously, Howman is completely correct about all this. If you in any way get your hands dirty for a living in this country you're treated like fuckin shite and it all goes back to Thatcher.

James Murdoch and his hideous mid Atlantic accent on 5live as we speak, denying till he is blue in the face that he and Brooks knew nothing of the huge sums of money being paid to PI's and police officers, then bullshitting his way through a piss poor explanation as to why the likes of Gordon Taylor was paid in an out of court settlement 2 years ago when he threatned to tell all. The journo (Tom Bradury of ITV) has pressed him repeatedly about Brooks knowing full well that she "wasn't running a newsroom, but a huge data gathering organisiation" but Murdoch said he "can't comment on an ongoing police investigation", and giving her his full backing in her cooperation in the investigation by the police force she was allegedly paying huge sums of money to for recently bereaved people's phone numbers. Theyve just had a reporter on from the NOTW offices who basically said the biggest threat to Brooks's safety now is from her former employees who are a bit miffed at her "I'm sacking all you lot but, ( almost in the words of David Brent) on a brighter note, I'll be keeping my own job" speech at the staff meeting to announce the closure of the 155 year old publication that, under her leadership, has ceased to exist. Once the police investigation (now thankfully under the watchful eye of the Police Complaints Commision) has done with her and the file has gone to the CPS I think she'll be get a huge payment to buy her silence from her present employers and quietly let go....with a nice spell in Holloway to look forward to.

http://www.vanityfair.com/online/daily/201...rld-update.html Cameron has said today that they'll be a public enquiry into the first enquiry by the Met into this carry on. I wonder if the poor bloke who was on 5 live this morning laying into a News International executive will be called to give evidence? The exec naturally apologised profusely to the man who just happened to be the father of a victim of the July 7th bombings. The exec asked for the man's number to be passed on to him by the BBC so they could explain the ins and outs of what has gone on. "youve already got it" he answered, to which the exec said that they didn't, and that the list of people targeted was in the hands of the Met. Which is sort of ironic, when the payments mentioned in the VF article above were to officers in the Met in exchange for the phone number's of victim's families over a period of years earlier in this decade. Authorised you'll notice by Andy Coulson, the man Cameron thought was a good, safe pair of hands to run his media department. Fuckin despicable practices. It'll all take years to fully come out and if you ask me the Met investigating the Met and Rebbeca Brooks "leading" the News International investigation are just sick fuckin jokes. Don't know what we can expect from the public enquirie(s).....they are likely to be many years in the future and some being called may well have done time for it....unlikely to be Murdoch, Coulson or Brooks though... but if you ask me they should be left in a room alone with Milly Dowler's parents and a baseball bat.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
PaddockLad replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
CT are you suggesting that clubs have only had to balance the books since last season? And Spurs got rid of Commolli because Harry wants to get sacked if he fucked up, not if someone else did. Thats the bottom line in this, to stand or fall by your own abilities. Pardew doesnt seem to mind. I would if I were offered the job at NUFC. Beautifully illustrated by Redknapp himself whe Mort got a polite but firm 'no' when he offered to him. For the record Spurs were bottom of the league when Harry went there and last season played in the quarter finals of the european cup. Yes hes had to sell to buy to acheive that, but spurs got a man with real ability. We got relegated. See the difference?- 10610 replies
