I haven’t, but I’ll look them up. Cheers 👍

I hadn’t listened to Doves’ Lost Souls in ages, had it on last night whilst grafting. It’s an amazing album for a debut ( I know they were previously another band, but I’m counting it as a debut).

You know that’s a spoof- course you do. The incident is true though, but if “Alfredo”was a flight attendant they’d never get off the ground

If like to see them combine the two, straight-legged, long distance roller blading is just the kind of nonsense Brisbane needs.

By “aviation partners” he means the lads he gets high with behind the local Aldi. #highasascabbytramp

Ive met some absolute whoppers who loved to bang on about their “service” and expected everyone to love them for it, and they were invariably mechanics or admin. Conversely, one of the blokes who had a huge impact on me as a young 17yr old shaver working at the Calvert Trust was a former SBS and Marines bloke ( he’d only ever admit to being a Marine initially but he eventually did say he’d been in the Boats for a spell ) Nicest, most chilled bloke you could possibly meet, intelligent, considerate and had an almost zen-like calm about him. The whoppers were very much in the majority mind

Won’t somebody think of poor Ollie?

Because all the worlds best players are super intelligent.… Get to fuck man, football has always been a way for daft lads to make a living, why pick Grealish out of the masses? And you’d be licking his (dumb as rocks) hoop if he was playing for us. -

Players exes meeting at the Women’s Refuge just over the road at 3:30pm. We’ll take them, good and proper 1970s style -
Not when you were there

Always found Zappa being in it as totally bizarre

Shearer’s from the Portsmouth game when he broke the club goals record, and Tino’s from the CL home game against Barcelona - worth a tidy sum now, which is a shame as I never had them.

I don’t keep up with their day-to-day doings, but last time I looked they were still in Division 3.
