we need a good left back/ midfielder. a direct centre forward/ second forward and quality cover for the 2 centrebacks. for some reason i don;t see us getting this.

technically the best midfielder we have on our books. if he's fit during the transfer windo i reckon we should play him ( as he'd be chomping at the bit) and get a fee for him. use the money to get some new balls, seats and training tops.

currently the most hyped up of arsenals young players. has better touch, technique and talent than most young players in the premier league, and would be a great idea for us. also a left footer. i notice his ability to pick a pass is significantly better than any one of our players going through the middle. I also don't think he is destined for a left sided spot. he's less of a wide player , more of a playmaker in the making. trouble is for wenger is he has about 12 of those kind of players in his first team squad already!

Winner. seriously though the complete lack of nous in the transfer market (giving players high wages for underperforming, for example), means that we have fucked up big time. 40k a week with reasonable bonuses for doing what players should do, pretty much as stevie said ( i.e. forwards and midfielders get goal bonuses, defenders get clean sheet bonuses etc etc). we all know the location to some of the more continental and or london based players is perhaps a bit bemusing so care should be taken not to alienate them. and to point them in the direction of a barbers. the board do need replacing but we need to be very careful. if ashley goes he'll take every penny he can get his fat hands on, and (i beleive) could still be the absolute ruin for this club for the next 5 years...

true enough. but, our decent players over the last few seasons ( and i can count them on one finger) have all been ground down and worn out, whether by fan related insults (or not wanting to be here) or training facility related injury, or indeed just poor coaching. we've never since SBR and steve clarke, had a top 2 ( manager and head coach) that have improved our players.

Arsenal are the ONLY big club in London, the same as we're the only big club in the North East. Couldn't agree more.

thats the one. when he was on loan at villa first time round he was good as well. not ( in my opinion) a coincidence.
