ipods are goodish sounding but only with virtually lossless or high bitrate recordings, there are far better sounding mp3 and mp4 players on the market. I agree with HF's theory that if you use phones daily you should get the best you can afford. I have 3 pairs all for different purposes, some very nice Akg ones for audio work. sennheisers for dj'ing, and other sennheisers for ipod related stuff... those phones for 15 quid are not bad btw.
