http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/au...eover-extension Newcastle have announced that Tyneside businessman Barry Moat has been given extra time to raise the financial backing to buy out owner Mike Ashley. In a development this morning, Newcastle said that Moat has been granted an extension to allow him time to persuade Barclays bank that he is able to service the club's existing £39m overdraft facility. A statement released by the club read: "Newcastle United confirm that we have extended our deadline to Barry Moat to table an offer for the club. "The extension is being granted in order to allow Barry Moat and his advisers to conclude funding arrangements with Barclays, current banker, for the continuation of last season's £39m facility. This would allow a formal offer to be tabled."

back to the matter of offering us what we don't have. yes, he has pace, but is pretty much a low rent 3 chances, 1 goal striker. offers little except pace and a few goals. Lovenkrands would have a field day against these kind of defences... and can create chances.

lily allen. fucks sake. she's a munter. classless bint.

Working on the assumption that fat cunt Ashley is staying...

agreed. terrible man, would undo the solid start to the season we are having. -
It's not our player's fault that Guti can't fucking pass or cross you moron. its known as movement off the ball, if you actually played any football instead of wanking off in front of your computer all day to pictures of your players you'd understand that. at barca, he'll be surrounded by players who are actually making cuts, showing, creating space. He'll be playing short, one touch passes. In case you haven't noticed, he does just fine when he plays for Argentina, hmmmm I wonder why that is. Its all good, continue to hate all your players that actually have some skill. Maybe one day if more people like you are in charge of your club you'll be filled with 5 nicky butts and 5 alan smiths in the outfield. Well, first of all I'm wanking off in front of my computer to pics of Megan Fox, and no Newcastle players. Secondly, you haven't got a fucking clue how football works. Yes, he would be surrounded by quality players, but again: He is a winger, and a winger has to have the ability to cross and score goals, not just to get past defenders. His delivery is TERRIBLE. Only god knows why playing short passes and one touch football would make him a better crosser or a goalscorer. TECHNICALLY HE'S A WING BACK.

well you can. Amazing really. that bend was run in no time at all and he was rocking and rolling from 100m onwards. I'm thinking that if he went for just the one or the other and could focus absolutely, he'd beat either record again. the thing about the drug cheats is they are power focused athletes, whilst bolt has an element of power, of course, his running is technique based watch how relatively lightly his feet hit the floor compared to the gay lad.... he's pretty much as clean as you can get, bearing in mind they do take lots of supplements, etc and their diet is geared purely towards doing what they do best.

great man apparently... should be on iplayer perhaps http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00m5...con_20_08_2009/ from about 35 mins in....

true enough, and he seemed to have identified a few transfer targets before the owners sat on their hands. the result of this being they have all been transferred. if he came in, then he'd have to get us playing the way sir bobby had us playing. fast counter attacking football with quick players all over the pitch, and a number 9 worthy of the shirt..... we don't have that. nowhere near....
-
we need to counter them, defend deep and attack with pace. ah wait theres a problem there.... no pace. rumours are that espanyol want collocini on loan. thats the best news i've had all year. get rid!

Police 'earn up to double pay with overtime'

a few people i know work for the old bill and its amazing how many are burnt out young. my ex is 31 and she's had enough. not of me but of the job. she also says that most of them that keep their relationships in the police end up fucking around and cheating on each other. work hard play hard, that sort of thing... -
I meant "aides". People, or assistants to help him improve as a footballer. fair dinkum. he needs help fella.... mind you i'd brick it in front of 35k+ geordies every week!
-
gets aids. fucks sake man. i know he's shit as do you, but there is no need for that. surely you mean retires and gets replaced by a decent player....
-
great analogy for a player that has a sweet right foot for crossing, but nothing else....
-
owen's bum chums on the beeb were going on about how soon it'll be before he gets his first goal for utd. defoes on fire. i know which of these 2 i'd take to the world cup ( if we get there).
-
technically barton is our best player. that, for me at least doesn't say much.
-
one of my friends tunes. he used to be a great guiatarist but has turned his attention to buying and playing decent keyboards. its fucking awful....
-
stevie. what the feck is that pic in your quote section?

the zog was never consistent enough though. look at him at wigan for example. never much end product. I beleive the term used for players like this is "promises much, but delivers little". duff tried but was never going to shake off the effects of several serious ankle injuries, they robbed him of his explosive pace. Mourinho got rid at the right time. he'll do a job for fulham as they have a midfield with far better ball retention than we had...
-
Speed was good, just not that good.... Can't beleive anyone would take anything Alan Oliver had to say at anything like face value....
-
its jimbo's telly for me. until then i will wait.... but not very patiently....
-
heh, remember them in the early 90's when waddle was there. good side then..... nowadays they are mid table plodders. not much more as far as i can see. with the team we can field for the moment, i can see us beating them 2-0. if we play as we have against reading and WBA.

i've had to sell off a load of stuff recently due to unemployment, but keep my studio stuff intact. that arcam stuff lazarus has is rather nifty. i had an old linn cd player and a rather nice DAC that went with it. yamaha amp..... Mission speakers... its all gone..

for proof that he could go a fair bit faster, just look at his reaction times on the iaaf site. he was 7th out of the blocks yet won by around 2.5 metres. if injury free he will hit 9.5 at the next olympics. thats certainly what i beleive. he's drug free as far as i can tell. the most obvious givaway on steriod heads is the colour of their eyeball, that deteriorates from off white to creamy yellow (least thats what i've been told). as for jessica ennis, who wouldn't. she's fit. i like her training partner as well. the one that didn't do so well...
-
he's his own man is shearer. i think he'd be good for the club but so far the good coaching based on sound technique and slightly different formation ( having 2 wide players that narrow the game up due to their ability to move inside) has cause problems for the 2 teams we've faced. eventually that'll get figured out however..... he will have his favourites ( and it'd seem for example collocini is definitely not on his xmas card list) but we have to wait for the fat man to sell up....

we have to face economic reality. all the first teamers are/ were on ridiculous wages for a team that never looked like getting out of the bottom half of the premiership since sir bob was sacked ( except for one flukey year when we got 7th). i think if taylor goes we will suffer worst because he is too good for the championship (but not quite good enough for a top premiership side). jonas looks good enough at this level if he could learn to cross/ pass. i think both of them will be gone by the end of the transfer window. what I'd like to know is who we are getting in to replace them... if at all...
