  10. yep its one of my pet hates! My mate is always late to pick me up, so now what I do is, leave my pc on stand by and get ready to go, then when i'm done if shes not arrived, I go back online.....this way the time goes quick and before i know it shes arrived and I've not worn a hole in the carpet pacing up and down for half an hour
  11. My grandad is from County Cork, but im ashamed to say I've never been to Ireland. Its on my list to visit soon, but I'm already dreading the channel crossing
  12. I noticed one of the men (i think he was from Anglesey) who owned an Irish Wolfhound was wearing a fleece or jacket with the Toon Crest on it
  13. See! This is what the internet was made for. It warms my heart to see it used in the way it was intended. Well if thats the case, I wouldnt want to let you down. May I take this opportunity to say.... You really are a complete wanker Steve!!
  14. I havent got time to read this thread as I'm off to work soon. But thught I'd mention this. My son came home from work one day last week, (he's a postie in Dawlish) to say that there had been some hold up and several roads down there were cordoned off. All the emergency services were in attendance to the incident. We presumed it had been a road accident or a fire. Anyway, we heard later on the news that a 34 stone guy had been ill and needed to get to hospital, He hadnt been out of his home or off his bed for years and had got so big the paramedics couldnt get him out of the doors. They finally got him out of the upstairs window (this was why Torquay fire brigade had been called out, as they had the gear to do this) I think the chap died later in hospital. 34 years old.
  15. I keep my hair very long and layered, so I have a trim and my highlights done every 7 weeks. Plus, every 3 months or so I get the underneath recoloured chesnut. Its all a tad expensive
  16. James Allen? I have to agree he's a fucking wanker. No doubt he's got a passion for the sport but he tries too hard to be Murray Walker. The way he acted when Button finally won was embarrasing, it was like he'd just clinched the title. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I fancy Massa to put on a strong title challenge. I don't think he'll win it though. Yeah James Allen What a shame the legend that is Martin Brundle has to work alongside that prat. Wouldnt Damon Hill be so much better alongside Martin? And yeah Massa should do well, no reason why not.
  17. The Spyker team have stolen our race colours!! The Dutch A1 team cars looked very smart too. I've gone for Kimi.....but thats cos i want him to win it. I dont feel the same about F1 anymore, i used to love it. Mind, if ITV got rid of that tit of a commentator it would be more bearable Someone please tell me he's been fired!!

    Sofa's

Argos sell leather sofas very reasonably priced. I saw some were buy one get one free! Only thing is you cant try them out before purchase, though i presume you'd still have the same 30 day money back guarantee as you do normally End of Jan we went to Land of Leather and bought 2 black leather sofas, ( a 2 seater and a 3 seater) both fully reclining. £699....very good value, though also take into account a £29 admin fee and a delivery fee of £59 to be paid on the delivery day on top of the sale price. Thing is that wasnt even the best deal, some suites were that price including an armchair aswell!! Only drawback is my delivery date is APRIL 14th!!! They are so busy because of the good prices i suppose, but i nearly told them to stick it. Also those prices are for suites that are leather AND leather match...meaning some parts arent real leather (like the back or sides that arent seen so much) The suites that were totally all real leather were £100-£200 more expensive. My deal was a buy now pay later thing, i have one year to pay it all or it goes on a credit agreement which really piles on the interest. I'll make sure mine is paid off in a couple of months.
  19. ....tonight. I think its about 11.20pm. Have you got your binoculars out?
  20. Im sure we had a thread not that long ago, all about brollies. AND man bags i seem to remember Unless i read it on another forum
  21. They make mint cake though Well i dont know about a night out there, but we had a top pub lunch there back in the summer
  22. Dirty O'Harry. Good girl Snakey after a lass who likes it in the Marmite garden, now there's a shock. 'raider never said she likes it up the choccy locker, she said she accepts it - on special occasions! And how do you know I'm 'after' her??? Eh? Eh? We might've already had a day of fun at an undisclosed location for all you know!! So there! Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Ooooon a little street in Singapore. We'll meet, beside an undiscovered door... and Jonny, you're skating on VERY thin ice!!
