I thought this might happen which is why I held off from booking any flights for Utrecht. It's also nice to read all this "we're bigger than you now" stuff to remind me why I despise the Mackem cunts - I hope theres a few really good kickings awaiting them.

Footballers wife dies due to cosmetic surgery
NJS replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in General Chat
I've read a few things about it sort of "serving her right" as it was only cosmetic surgery which I think is harsh - unfortunately stuff like this happens in hospitals no matter what you're in for - by definition they are dangerous places. I thought this death was a shame no matter what. One thing that struck me on a personal note is how "easy" it is to be able to switch off life support compared with not being able to cross the line from a DNR decision for someone who only has a few (distressing) days left in "helping" them as happened with my Mam - I think this illustrates that its a grey area which could be improved. -
I've had my personal one for 13 years but I never use it any more as I have had a phone from work for 3 years which has personal usage so everyone has that number. Everyone I know has had the same number since their first mobile.

Simple question - why should we believe anything the slimy fucker says?

Pleasing deluded fans has turned Newcastle in to a joke.
NJS replied to TheMoog's topic in Newcastle Forum
Caught a bit of SSN earlier saying that Real Madrid expect a capacity crowd tonight at the unveiling of of Ronaldo - I look forward to the articles referring to 90000 Spanish fuckwits are whatever the phrase is. -
The church of guitar is a broad one - nothing to say I can't listen to a breathy-voiced goddess followed directly by a bit of Sabbath.

There are only two - Star and King - both great but you can also get a "best of" which includes a b-side called Thief which is quite simply the most beautiful song ever written. You should also check out Tanya Donelly's solo albums.

;) One for Brixton - I fucking hate ticket agency "tickets go on sale at 9am Friday" days.

The strange thiing is I've always rationalised my not getting The Office as down to it being too true to life whereas I love Phoenix Nights which certainly has the same "problem". I'd agree that ir would be better if a new series didn't happen.

I'd agree about reccomending Mazzy Star, particularly for Hope Sandoval's voice, not as country mind (though on the odd song i can perhaps see what you mean, the odd one is bluesey as well, but definitely worth a listen! They are usually categorised as "dream pop" which also covers other bands I adore like Belly. However I think Mazzy Star fall into my particular take on country although admittedly with a bluesy touch as well - a niche also occupied in my tastes by early Texas. Of course Hope also occupies a place in my pantheon of Godesses as well.

I often think the "success" of Hall and Shepherd was more by luck than judgement - mainly the appointments of Keegan and Robson. I think there were cock-ups from the start like the first Keegan walkout and continuing through things like the Baggio farce and summer of Bowyer. I don't doubt Shepherd does want us to succeed and would do the business in the short term (if Shearer works out) but I don't think its due to any underlying competence. I think I'd prefer a baggageless option.

Emmylou Harris - the pure bluegrass is a bit too much for me but some of her later stuff is quality. If you want to stretch the definition then two massive favourites of mine are Mazzy Star and Rilo Kiley - not strictly country but tinged with a bit.

One tasteless thing I saw the other day - some press conference with his Dad where he plugged the record company he'd (his Dad) set up - I don't know the full story of Michael's supposedly miserable childhood but his Dad looked like slime based on what I saw.
-
I can't get my head around the sudden record sales which I noticed on the HMV site - surely anyone who likes his music would already own Thriller, Bad etc and likewise people like me aren't suddenly going to think it's good so who's buying albums now?

I think you can download viewers from MS which might allow you to do a "save as".

But the IUPAC standard is that metals should have an "ium" on the end to indicate the positive ions they produce - obviously some very basic metals were named before the standards. Having said that I have also read that yanks originally discovered/named it with an "um" at the end.

If you want to know who Green Day's "Fathers" are listen to Stiff Little Fingers - who were 70s.
-
A mate of mine liked them and we sometimes used to listen to that on the way to matches - I always thought they had something but it just wasn't my thing. Frightening scan through "albums of 1989" on Wiki also reveals Disintegration and Doolittle.

As .com implies - expect references to Ponteland/Woolsington airport.

My honest opinion is that he wasn't a full-on child rapist but some of the stuff he did with kids was dodgy - a bloke in his 40s showering and/or sleeping with kids even if no fiddling took place is fucked up. Whether that's strictly "illegal" is one for the DAs etc and in that context if I knew my kids were still "intact" I'd be tempted by $20m if I'm being honest - especially considering the strain of trial. Of course if my kids had told me he'd went further then thats something else.

As he was 99% plastic, Michael Jackson will be melted down to make lego - this means that kids will get to play with him for a change.
