Everything we do is going to be under scrutiny, there will be abusive and sometimes untrue newspaper stories, every single bad result next year will have the country howling with laughter. They will peddle all of the old fan clichés and abuse the fuck out of us. The mackems will make a 30 page thread on ready to go for even the smallest event. We just have to put up with it and get on with things. Right now we are a joke from head to toe, but it wont always be like that. OTF 6191 Posted June 23, 2009 Share Posted June 23, 2009 I'm also warming to it (with some hot fudge and ice cream). It was shocking when I first looked at it, but now doesn't seem as bad. I think the light yellow should have been white, and the shorts should have been white with black stripes and yellow trim along the bottom. At least that way they wouldn't look like bananas from head to toe. It's going to be a horrible seller though, will look rubbish with jeans. It definitely does look better with darker shorts probably only because it looks more like our old Yellow kit with them (2004 kit? can't remember Kluivert played in it though).
