He came across as massively self-pitying, and is obviously a huge burden on the State, but I couldn't help feeling sorry for the poor bastard. I've caught a few episodes of the American version but never watched a full series so definitely going to watch this one. tinofbeans 86 Posted January 11, 2011 Share Posted January 11, 2011 sometimes. i went under 12 and a half stone and looked fairly gaunt. i'm happier at around 12 stone 10 to 13 stone 2lbs. fair play to these people. i saw clare nasir on the telly the other day and she was a right state, now there's more fat on a chip! He's right though, chubbyness keeps you looking young. All vitamins are stored in body fat. Fatty tissue also is a good barrier to the harmful rays of the sun. A bit of fat is good, but not too much.
