Apparently Charles and Camilla are under attack in a car by students btw. Just to lighten the mood a bit.

Is a policeman riding Camilla in a mounted assault on the students ?

I agree, but that's why Ashley/Llambias are twats....not necessarily Pardew.

Aye i'm sure he's not employed anything underhand to get the job it's not like he's not trustworthy or reliable!

the kind of guy you'd trust with your wif....hang on!

"Look into my eyes, look into my eyes, the eyes, the eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around the eyes, look into my eyes, *snap* you're under. Hughton has not been doing an adequate job, he must be replaced before christmas, whatever the position in the league or he'll blow you're investment, I on the other hand am a magnificent manager who will win 100% of games and have you rolling in money *snap* You're back in the room."

I don't think Ashley's that suggestible.

Seriously? This is the mug who was taken in by Dennis Wise. I reckon Pardew has been telling him everything he wants to hear and backing Ashley's complaints about Hughton. Basically he'll have had his tongue up Ashley's arse for months.

yup pretty much what i was getting at, humping the legs of those two in whatever bar/casino they happened to meet up in.

(inbetween trying to get some players wife of course)

You make it sound like Ashley is Jack, an innocent but slightly simple chap taken in by the conniving genius of Pardew the con artist going about selling magic beans to unsuspecting millionaires.

Whoever did the chasing, all Pardew's done is jump at an opportunity to get back in the game. He owed Newcastle nothing and he owed Hughton nothing. Ashley did though, and he's fucked us over...again.

whatever your deficiencies in the political areas  , you are spot on here with that.

Pardew didnt plot behind the scenes to get rid of Hughton, thats a ridiculous idea. Cant believe some of you are entertaining it based on him being in the frame for 2 weeks or whatever.

Stevie knew this since 22nd October which means its been hatched as a plan weeks before that. Lawyers would have been involved in preparing the dismissal for ages. Are they part of the 'plot'?

None of this implicates anyone other than Ashley in Hughton's sacking.

exactly

Yeah, i can't see the issue with Pardew himself. Ashley and lambiarse have gone to him (anytime within the last few months possibly) and have said do you fancy a massive managerial job at a great club on a big contract because we're going to sack Hughton sooner or later. Whether Pardew felt sorry for Hughton or was apathetic either way he wasn't goign to stop him being sacked, so why wouldn't he take the job. If people on here were out of work and some MD of a big company comes along and says do you want a job, the current guy is out soon, you really not going to take it?

That's a completely seperate thing to the fact he isn't good enough and i don't want him as manager here and that if people want to spend the whole Liverpool match protesting i'd completely understand it. But Pardew's here now, i'm not going to slate him, though i'll happilly have a right go at ashley till the day he fucks off, or even better dies.

There no reason at all to believe Pardew can do a better job than Hughton. Yet he has to be bringing something extra to the table and it can’t just be being a good boy because Hughton was no bother at all. So what is it he’s offering that Hughton (or any other new manager) isn’t to make him the number one candidate for the job?

He's offering fuck all more than Hughton but he is mates with the fat cunt and lambiarse! I'm totally against the choice of Pardew ahead of Hughton but i don't hold anything against the guy personally for taking a great job on big money when he's obviously been told Hughton was beign sacked.

Anyone any idea how many season ticket holders there is now? The numbers of casual ticket buyers, myself included, is going to take a pretty big hit over the next few months I'd imagine.

is this the beginning of a spectacular u-turn ?

a u-turn on what you utter mong?

Edit: That thing that you think my point is that you keep arguing with me about despite me not saying it - is my guess

but you've been telling us for - how long exactly ? - how well Mike Ashley was running the club etc etc .... haven't you

Are you drunk yet Leazes? I'm not judging you, just looking to re-calibrate my stupidity meter.

not a bit Gemmill. Are you, as you surely were for all those months you kept encouraging the club to give Souness more and more millions ?

Actually, you sound pretty drunk quite often, which is quite surprising for someone who isn't bothered enough to go to games anymore ie since whatever attracted you was taken away ?

Unlike your silly childish comment, I am actually making a relevant point in those comments of mine ?

I'd have Stevie doing team talks as well.

I'd be better in a Terry Mac role doing one on ones.

LM could be the manager as long as he doesn't offend Tiote, Shola, Ranger and especially Ben Arfa.

how could anybody offend Shola ? He's NUFC through and through and plays like it every week

Evening Sir

Had a few have we? Would you mind blowing into this bag?

Your erratic English gives me cause to believe you are typing under the influence.

Pffffffffftttt-cough-wheeze-pffffffffffffffffffft.

Oh Dear Mr. Leazes, step out of the keyboard please.

Thats what I call a lot of catching up to do ie reading all of that.

FWIW.....I don't see the point of booing Pardew or taking it all out on him, just because he's a "cunt".

Surely we all hope he does a good job ?

I'm not advocating a boycott, that achieves nothing. The only way Ashley will go is if he gets a good offer that suits him, or long term apathy.

The events of this week have underlined he is clueless, not because he has replaced a manager with another manager, but because the policy of the club will not change. Even Mourhinho would struggle to put together a consistently winning team with his hands tied.

I don't agree with long term contracts, never have, for any manager.

How long of this 5 years will Pardew last, and no I'm not going to take the piss by harping on about "plans", but would like to know if this is a "plan", what exactly is the aim at the end of this plan, and is he going to stick with his "plan" for the whole 5 years or not ?

Time will tell.

As a policy, you appoint a manager, back him, and it's him who has his "plan". The manager is given a free hand, he is the person who decides on the back room staff, how many he wants, what they do, and who they are. If Ashley wants a profit making football club in 5 years time and Pardew achieves that then Ashley has no reason to sack him before that time. It depends on what his aims are as the owner. Does it suit you ? If fucking well doesn't suit me. Not a bit.

This isn't Alan Pardews fault though. If you want to go to the game on Saturday, he doesn't deserve booing. Only Ashley and his mouthpiece deserve that.

We do, but do you really think he can do better than Hughton on a similar budget? No-one understands why he has been sacked. More experience? Big name manager to attract a better calibre of player? Entrusted with a big budget? No. None of that. An honourable man like Hughton has seemingly lost his job for no other reason than Pardew is a mate of the Toxic Twins.

no, I don't. He might do marginally better, marginally worse, or much worse. Doesn't mean we have to blame Pardew though. All he's done is take a chance to get back into football.

Chris Hughton will be gutted, but I'm sure he understands this is the nature of the game, and also knew the tossers who were his bosses and what they were like.

He'll get another job, but at the end of the day, top level football managers are all richer than all of us ....
