Understandably a tough couple of days for many reasons, but I think some of the reaction is a bit over the top once you stop to think things through.

 

I liked Chris Hughton because he was a nice guy, a decent guy, reminded me a bit of Sir Bob and was a breath of fresh and stability following the departure of Special K.

 

I cant say Chris Hughtons style of football is this or that or he was showing signs of being a great tactician or any other qualities you associate with great Managers.

 

Was he a good man manager or just a soft touch? Its well documented about the gang of four running the show.

 

Did he have a vision? A Plan? etc etc Again I dont know.

 

Yes Ashleys a cunt. Yes Chris could have had more to spend? Yes the pis poor squad didnt help our recent form?

 

But again when I think of Chris the words Dignified comes to mind and while that was a breath of fresh air, at the end of the day its probably not enough. As an optimist I would like to think he could have grown into the job and everything would have worked out, but usually nice guys come last.

 

A lot of stuff is coming out about the crap he had to put up with. Was it dignified just to accept it or should he have done what KK and most managers would have done. Was he a Yes Man.

 

If it was Martin Jol or Martin Oneil getting unveiled tomorrow, most wouldnt miss Chris too much. Unfortunately its looking like Pardew. While thats a big Anti climax, Im not sure its leaving us worse off than under Chris, and it might even leave us better off. (Time will tell).

You're not sure it will leave us any worse off than we were under Chris?? Hughton has been at the club nearly three years in various capacities, he knew all of the players very well, he knew their positions and capabilities very well, he was respected by the entire coaching and playing staff, and in time he was respected by the vast majority of toon fans. We lost 4 games in 46 in the Championship in a campaign where a majority were saying we'd be doing well if we reached the play offs, he played conservatively away from home which pissed some off, but ultimately we garnered more points away from home than any other team in English football.

 

This season people have been saying he's tactically naive, we've played really shit in three games, THREE. In our first season back up, we've played the Champions twice and haven't lost, beat the team with the second most points from Jan to May last year on their own ground (the blue dippers), we've beaten a side who have only lost 6 times ever at their stadium (Arsenal), we beat the mackems 5-1 our biggest win against them in 50 year, we beat Villa 6-0 our biggest win against them ever, we've won three in a row in London, yes we've dropped silly points, but if anything was seriously broken do you think we'd have even had one point from the games I've mentioned? The Arsenal game away was commitment wise and tactically easily the best NUFC performance on those fronts in the last five years.

 

Yet you are saying an appointment that was supposed to be "an experience Premiership manager", when it turns out to be Alan Pardew sacked from everywhere but READING, a manager who as I mentioned yesterday preferred Harewood to Tevez, HAYDEN Mullins to Mascherano, a man disliked by most of his ex players who is perceived as arrogant, who has achieved FUCK ALL in his career, you're entertaining the idea that nothing is broken? The players even if they grow to like him, will be all over the place mentally for a good few weeks, with our hardest run of games coming this month. You talk too much in your taxi that much is clear, so much so you're not clear in your view, you and many others search too hard for an alternative view when the truth is slapping you in the face.

 

The likes of Jaythesouthernmug, and other mugs as well, mouthy as fuck talking shit, it's no wonder good old posters are leaving and I'll not be long, mouthy cunts, the thing is right I don't claim to be hard, I'm not, but I never say anything on here I wouldn't to someones face, too many cunts on here at the minute.

As someone who lives too far from Newcastle to be considered by some a proper fan, and also being unfortunate in the fact that I am not a geordie in any way, I don't post too often but "lurk" as I enjoy reading the views of those who feel as strongly about this club as I do (and I am sure that many will believe that I don't/can't feel as strongly as that because of my "shortcomings").

 

I feel for all of you that live in and around Newcastle as you are the ones that spend the money on the season tickets and the days out for the games. Living in the area and looking up, seeing SJP and knowing that inside are Ashley, Llambias, and now Pardew would do nothing but keep me in a constant state of anger (until apathy sets in) at what is being done. It is a testament to what the fat bastard has done when many of you speak (and rightly so) of chucking your Season Tickets in after this season and staying away from the club.

 

I have no idea as to how I am going to cope with the possible next five and a half years that Pardew may be in charge of the team.

I've posted passionate rants on here about it being our club and it always will be, but it is so fucking bizarre and detached from the fans now that I think it is clearly lost until Ashley goes. I don't know what it is these days, in the past it has been a rollercoaster with some soaring summits, thrilling twists and painful let downs. Now it's like being dragged by a lunatic driven tractor through a Sports Direct field filled with manure covered breeze blocks, how long can anyone put up with that?

 

Newcastle United is owned by a complete and utter cunt, don't give him your money; nothing. Fuck loyalty, it is stupidity.

No one has ever summed up my feelings better than this. Word for word how I feel. I've got no energy left for them, got no hurt left, got no happiness left for them, I'm feeling no emotion that's how I feel with regards to NUFC, I'm drained of them this week. They are one of the most important things in most of our lives but it's time to take stock and think is all the emotional energy worth it, because it is worth it when you have respect for your leader, when you can see hope for the future, when you fuckin dream of better days.

 

It's all gone though, I think the thing when a lot of us were 10-16 in the late 80s early 90s, we realised it couldn't get any worse, it would get better, we had John Hall and the Magpie Group always hovering to take it to the promised land, and it was a lot easier to get there now. This regime is like the fuckin Benny Hill Show, you could pick 5 people any five off this board and I genuinely believe we would have a better idea how to run this football club. You would honestly think that what they are doing is a deliberate wind up, not fuckin about that's how bad it is, it's almost like a wind up.
