I'm off to Amsterdam on saturday for 5 days and will go to my mothers over in Spain for 3 weeks in July with the wife and little'uns.

Only need pay for my flights and beer etc and the villa is empty.

Highlife, tbh.

Got a weekend in Dallas booked in May but I'm hoping to get a flight to LA and rent a car and drive up the Pacific coast up to maybe Seattle of Vancouver.

Two weeks in Düsseldorf ;)

I love Meenzer's holidays.

I've got a cottage in the Highlands booked and a week by Lake Garda. Probably go to Cuba at the end of the year as well. Would like to go to Australia but I don't think it's possible.

I hope nobody from TotT is reading btw.

Well, we were planning to go to Egypt around September time. Hmmmmmmm

Now thinking maybe start in Istanbul, then on to Athens, then work our way up major city-wise to Berlin. Then again, may drive through New England.

Fuck knows.

Was thinking of Andalucia but been warned its ridiculously hot in August when we're planning on going.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Want a bit of culture but also a nice beech to relax and unwind on.

Needs to be fairly easy to get too... i.e. not 14 hour flights and then a huge journey at the other end

Somewhere thats a decent 30 degrees but no more would be nice.

Three weeks in America. Atlanta to visit one of the lads uncles, then Vegas, LA, Coachella festival and finally New York.

Fucking hammering the gym to make way for the inevitable weight gain thanks to the scran over there!

Everywhere in the Northern hemisphere that is 'hot' is likely to be hot in August. I'm not great in heat but have found the Costa del Sol to be OK as you tend to get sea breezes. Only been in May or September though. There's a nice resort about 50 mile east og Malaga called Nerja which is worth seeing, and Marbella is canny nice despite its rep. Not much culture though. What about Barcelona? Or Nice in cote d'azure (direct Easy Jet flights). The latter will be expensive though.

LA-Vegas-San Francisco-Sydney-Perth

Also looking at a surprisingly large tax rebate in addition to discovering I have 8 days of leave that I didn't take last year that I can turn into cash, so I might plan something for later on in the year...

Might even go back to the West Coast of America and tour it more leisurely :jesuswept:

Get yerself to Nice. Lovely and cheap from newcastle with easy yet.

Loads of culture, fabulous beaches, great transport system with St Tropex etc to the right and Monte Carlo to the left.

Just after a weekend break in London in the most over-rated hotel I've ever had the misfortune of staying in.

Got a few night in Barcelona over the royal wedding/May day.

No idea where I'll be heading for the main summer holiday.
