I have recommended it to friends who don't have any interest because it is about Sunderland and they 'don't care' about them. I have tried to explain that it is fascinating car crash TV but they don't bite haha. I would have been gutted if it had been about NUFC under the Ashley era and I imagine some of the things that went on were probably equally as painful to observe. As Renton mentioned, we may well have a superiority complex when it comes to you, but we've got good fucking reason. Most of us are mid 30s to mid 50s, and for the past 20-40yrs Newcastle United have been superior to Sunderland in almost every season. Better players, better managers, better football, better finishes, better standard of competition, better crowds, just better.
